Kawakami is referenced and there are references to the Kuki Corporation, I believe. Even if there aren't any character cameos, the game goes out of its way to make sure you know it's still in the majikoi universe.

Some people from the manga scanlation group Masterscanz are doing the Tsujidou translation, they started a semi-open translation project here: https://bitbucket.org/carter-yagemann/tsujidou-san-no-junai-road Anyone is free to contribute but contributions must be verified by the masterscanz team first before they're accepted. So hopefully it won't go as badly as the White Album 2 translation.

I wonder if some enterprising modders could import Umineko into that engine. It would look and work a lot better than the current UmiTweak patch, but it may not be necessary with that russian-made PS3-to-PC port coming out soon (hopefully), which will have full support for the various FX and every other feature that wouldn't work with the new higurashi engine.

Two translators just took the reigns for Daito, they seem pretty enthusiastic.

I'm not saying he's suspicious, just unknown, so don't get your hopes up. At the very least, FA is in a better spot than it has been for a couple years.

Who wants a 100% translated ToHeart2 patch? http://ittaku-subs.net/th2beta1.7z Some routes are unedited. This flurry activity that we're in right now and will continue to be in for what I suspect will be the next few months is pretty much what I thought things would be like six months ago, by the way. But a lot of projects ended up delayed for various reasons. Even JAST has been getting in on the release/update frenzy! They're saying that they'll be selling Shiny Days and Raidy III at AX early next month, although they won't ship until a little while later. I suspect they'll postpone th

Don't give them a dime for as long as it's in its current state.

Somebody else already picked it up. Right now they're currently anonymous but someone contacted this guy for technical help and translation seems to have resumed: http://cryingtranslation.wordpress.com Don't get your hopes up, really. When it comes to these kinds of things, projects secretly start up and shut down practically every day. Some secret individual saying they're translating it again without a proper announcement and without showing anything, and without discussing progress doesn't mean that a complete translation patch is actually going to happen. It's better to be pessimistic a

A Nursery Rhyme update was missed, they're at 7725/32977 now. So one more for team red.
-
It's just a random reference, don't read too much into it.
-
Every team has a different idea of what QC means so you can't really make any judgements on that. Also apparently there are still technical issues to resolve that their hacker hasn't gotten around to yet.
-
Huh, guess I'm going to be reading Rose Gun Days soon. That's pretty cool. edit: Actually, where did you get the RGD info from?
-
The after stories in Majikoi S are actually super short. So while it appears blazing fast, it's about an average pace in reality.
-
The translation is good and I believe all of the original music is restored. The minigames are not. Other than that, there is no cut content.
-
That is for Kajitsu only, and only the all-ages version. The 18+ version is releasing a little bit later.
-
Translation and editing may be finished, but programming and QC are not, and this will take two or three months' time. They are not worried about the reception with regards to its extreme content, they are going to release it in whole no matter what. While this is true (they don't want their own products to compete with each other), I'm sure they already have a release slot for euphoria planned out. Probably late August would be my guess. The game isn't ready yet, though.

Well, people say that the starless anime is significantly worse than the VN.
-
For Daito, there are true routes and normal routes for each of the main heroines (minus one who only has a true route). The translated Kana and Ureshino routes are only the normal routes. Ureshino is a sub-heroine and only has a shorter normal route. These are fully translated, however. Also you should at least give nyaa a quick search before making a torrent request. I found this in ten seconds: http://sukebei.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=1715726

Oh yeah that's totally unofficial and fan-made, that's not obvious at all, JAST. What, it released before the game itself even did? Don't worry, nobody will be able to figure out the true perpetrators. It's the perfect crime.
-
I'm glad he finally said something. It's a shame, though, I really enjoyed the prologue a whole lot, much more so than I expected to going in. It's a good VN and was a good translation. I hope somebody picks it up.
-
No, that's Starless.
-
Except MangaGamer isn't pushing this to society at large. Society is pretty good at ignoring its less savory elements if they keep to themselves. I mean, look at all the extreme fetish porn out there. Society knows it exists, but ignores it. Euphoria pretty much falls into the same category of "extreme porn for weirdos" and will receive the same treatment. As long as MangaGamer doesn't try to push this game on anyone who doesn't want it, they will be ignored.
-
Clockup is doing all of the technical work so they need to do some programming and testing on their end, and then MangaGamer has to let their own QCers run through it for a final script check. It will probably release sometime this summer.
-
Majikoi A-1 has been picked up at fuwanovel and a translator is already working on it. So that is ostensibly happening.
-
This one is definitely better.
