  1. That's some serious Subahibi progress on the editing front. Pretty promising.
  2. The community is salty, peter payne is salty at the saltiness, everyone is mad at everyone. Good times in VN Land today. But yes, peter has made it as clear as it is possible to make it that there will be an "unofficial" restoration patch released shortly after the game's release, made by JAST.
  3. JAST has put Shiny Days up for pre-order and on their forums they have given a release estimate of June/July. This is JAST, though, never trust a release date. They most certainly want to get it out before summer is over, though. No Sumaga pre-order yet so they might miss their summer estimate for that. Now, for the bad news. A few scenes featuring Kokoro and her schoolmates are being cut from Shiny Days. It seems like the translators and editors who worked on the game threatened to quit if it shipped with that content. It is my understanding that Sekai Project are actually the ones who worked
  4. ef didn't have any animation at all other than lip synching.
  5. Well... 1.3%. In two weeks. Sorry. (I want it, too... )
  6. Koichoco only moves once a month as per their monthly update schedule, be patient.
  7. Well, well, look at Johnny-on-the-spot here. How is that girl not falling over? Her head must weigh an actual ton. In other news, the translator for Subahibi has today publicly vowed to finish translation by July 20th. He's not saying that the patch will be ready by then, just that he'll get to 100% translation. And he also said that if Herkz takes too long in editing it, he'll leak another patch with everything that's done. So we'll be able to play Subahibi all the way through one way or another this summer. He hasn't ever made any declarations like this before so it's pretty reliable,
  8. Their Cartagra translation was also excellent. But of course, it all depends on who works on what. Maria, Cafe, and Koestl are solid translators who do good work. Ritobito is their best editor and produces some really good final english scripts.
  9. Then why did aroduc remove that from the to-do list... Well, whatever.
  10. Bunny Black is out of editing. Seiha Translations - View topic - Remaining Work/Report Thread It seems very close to release.
  11. It was the best when Windows 98 was still new.
  12. lol, looks like the project leader disagrees with me on wairu's translation, they're going to do some QA on their work, it seems. Well, whatever, it will make for a better final patch, I look forward to the results.
  13. Don't worry about the hate, NaAaF, I think people tend to overreact to any amount of criticism at all. I get where you're coming from, and I agree that there should be no reason to stay away from fixing another translator's work. Especially from a group who will never return to the scene, like Yandere. I don't really buy the "wouldn't meddle with another group's work" thing. I mean, on Fuwanovel there is someone trying to TLC and edit the Koitate translation and nobody has raised any issues with that. And it's basically the same as what Pablo is trying to do with the busted Konosora translatio
  14. That's what the skip button is there for. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to get back to where you were. Hidden progress updates: Aokana's common route is almost complete, they won't officially update their progress outside of major milestones, it seems.
  15. I've seen it for chinese games before. As an example, here's a chinese version of Nobunaga's Ambition: http://store.steampowered.com/app/292990/ I seem to remember one or two Japanese-only games as well but I can't recall them off the top of my head. Anyways, my point is, it's possible. edit: http://store.steampowered.com/app/338070/?snr=1_7_7_230_150_12
  16. It seems they are currently only interested in releasing a Japanese version if it gets greenlit. It being on Steam does not automatically mean it will be in English. But of course as soon as people from SP and MG saw this they jumped at the opportunity. So who knows what will happen.
  17. That was placed there as soon as translation finished, months ago.
  18. The 4chan guy hasn't been tracking its editing progress, but Leyline is SUPER DUPER close! Status | Kohaku Translations Only a few hundred lines to go, and then it's theoretically ready for release.
  19. Good news of the week: Majikoi S Translation Project - Ongoing Projects - Fuwanovel Forums It's official, the guys who completed the Majikoi translation are moving on to the sequel!
  20. The bummer of the week: this marks a month of no updates from the Daito guy, after a few months of weekly updates and steady progress. I was really optimistic about that project, hopefully he'll make a return soon.
  21. It was formally announced a few weeks ago. It started a year or more ago and finished translation quite a while ago.
  22. At this point I have no idea why the majikoi patch isn't on the list, there isn't any real excuse for that. But yeah, in case anyone somehow missed it, the Majikoi translation is 100% complete and released. Miyako, Agave, the side routes, the whole shebang. And after playing some of the new translations, it's actually a little better than I expected. Especially when you read one of the newly translated routes immediately after a Yandere translated one, it brings to light how completely stiff and unnatural Yandere's script reads. Probably because it's korean. I mean, the thread this li
  23. The Sukisho First Limit translation may have actually been the first finished translation patch coming from fuwanovel. But that was Yaoi so nobody here noticed or cared.
