ChexGuy 13
1TB Hard Drive 8GB RAM AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz 600W PSU EVGA nVidia GTX 650 (mid-end, but it was cheap) Total cost was about $460, I definitely could have done much better with either a little more money or a little more research at the same price, but it runs everything I need it to. Ryu 15
Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 CPU: Intel I5 3470 PSU: Corsair TX Series 750w GPU: Gigabyte GTX 680 HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB + 500GB External HDD SSD: Samsung 830 64GB (For OS and other software) I will be fine at least for the next 4-5 years. Max Payne 3 gives me small hiccups. The real limits of my system will be tested with Metro: Last Light, GTA V and The Witcher 3.

Chocolatemilkgod 16
My 2 1/2 year old desktop for heavy gaming: OS: 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium and Linux as a backup RAM: 4x2GB Corsair CPU: Amd phenom II X4 955 @ ~3.2 Ghz (although it's over-clocked so it peaks higher than this) GPU: Ati radeon HD 4800 HDD: 500GB (but I have about 2TB in removable hard drives) I use my laptop for VNs and some games that don't have any graphics (DF, etc.) but it just has an on-board GPU so it inherently sucks at anything above that... The RAM doesn't matter that much though, only if you need to run a sh*tload of programs in a row. IF you buy another GTX 680 in SLI mode, I'll promise to do the same thing...
