Long and awesome story, hmm? Here's a few for ya: Muv-Luv series (first Muv-Luv, then Muv-Luv Alternative) Higurashi series (first Ni, then Kai) Umineko series (first Ni, then Chiru) Ever17 (not super long, but HIGHLY recommended) Fate/stay night YU-NO All of the above have been translated.

Gonna start on Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I'm pumped for this and feel positive about it right now! Can't say exactly how good it'll end up being for me personally, sure, but it definitely has some of the best ingredients in it. I loved Higurashi - we'll see if that ultimately makes any difference also. Will make sure to read during nighttime as much as possible for this one, because it will probably make a big difference just like it (VERY MUCH) did with Higurashi. Full immersion! The only light in the room coming from the computer screen... headphones... high volume... fullscreen... aaaall

Kanon. Nice! Really good. I was looking for something emotional in this, and it definitely delivered on that front several times. Shiori's, Mai's and Ayu's routes ended up being my favourites. It started out being fairly dull though - all the "common route" days, basically. This was my first Key VN, and... I'm impressed. I got what I wanted out of this, so well done. Didn't expect anything amazing, no... and it didn't end up being amazing either. But it was very much worth the read, that's for sure.

Didn't watch episode 5 until now for some reason... oh well, double episode session this time around for me I guess! [spoiler=EP5]Surprisingly emotional episode, with lots of Kagami, yea! Very nice! Loved it. [spoiler=EP6]DAMN! It was pretty cute and innocent at first with the mother and daughter doing random things... but then, CORPSE MOM showed up. It did not end well. Kagami :( Looking forward to the next episode!

Ever17... CLEARLY!

Now THAT... I was not aware of. Remarkable. He sure as hell picked some incredibly fitting music for this story then, seriously. It sounds great because it fits so well with each scene in there. But sure, it's definitely not as great as the music from Dai in Kai. That's one of the reasons why Kai was even better than Ni for me by the way. Oh yea, read about that some days ago actually... kinda crazy. Well I'm very happy that he's doing so well now. He deserves it.
