Yea, I'll recommend Kokoro Connect as well. Saw it recently myself and it was pretty damn awesome. There are 17 episodes in total and each episode is really powerful. It's actually hard to stop watching it once you started. Excellent drama and character development, mixed with some comedy and romance aaaaaaaaaaand... Inaba.

Right now, my normal internet connection won't allow me to reach: Erogedownload, Erogegames, VNDB, Pingtest, Speedtest, plus some other sites. I either have to use a proxy software/website, or, use my mobile broadband (doing that now) to reach them. I despise anything related to internet connection issues. And yes, the problem solving is in the hands of the ISP as it is now.

Got done with Tsumihoroboshi (Higurashi Kai arc 6) last night... so, two arcs completed out of four in Kai so far. This VN is everything I want it to be. Yep... it's... perfect for me. Mmm, pretty much. The only thing "lacking" I suppose are the majority of CGs from the PS2 version as well as the voice acting. But to honest, that's just extras anyway. They aren't supposed to be in the PC version to begin with. It would be lovely to have them, sure, but nothing more than that. The story, music, sound effects, setting and the characters themselves are the most important parts of Higurashi I feel. And we have all of that of course. Oh and the music is even better in Kai. Better quality, cooler/more beautiful tracks in general. It's more "epic" sounding for the most part and I do think that fits with Kai very well. As for arc 6 itself - it's one of the better ones (all are great though, keep that in mind) for me so far. [spoiler=Higurashi arc 5&6]Suffice it to say, all of it was good, so I'm not gonna go over everything here at all. There's plenty of memorable moments that could be mentioned. A lot of emotional stuff in both arc 5 and 6... tear-inducing, even. Not only that, but the mystery continues - it's not like everything is clear now. Some mysteries are now solved, but not all of them, and especially not the biggest ones. Both the ending segments of arc 5 and 6 were incredible. Some questions were answered aaaand some new ones were presented. As it should be at this point in the VN. ^^ - Don't say that Shion (Mion) . It's not really your fault that things went wrong. You will be saved from this nightmare! I hope... - Maybe a happy future like this will be reality for you someday. The hostage situation in the school at the end of 6 was goddamn intense and exciting. Rena can be pretty damn scary alright, and I love her for it. I didn't think it would end well, since it was just arc 6 after all. And yea it sure looked like it wouldn't end well at all when Keiichi was found out by Rena in the storage. But then - Surprise Rika to the rescue! And some time after that a battle between a hatchet and a metal bat on the roof. Sad+happy+tense moment once the battle got close to the end... loved that part. And you know, it seemed like this arc would actually get a happy ending after that. Yea, that's exactly what it looked like. But then that last TIPS had to mention that the Hinamizawan Disaster happened the day after Rena's redemption. It's sad. They beat the mental disease (or whatever it is), but Kei did not actually solve the biggest problem of all - and "Rika" knew that. However, maybe now he actually has the power to solve it. Things might end up very differently next time. The dice must be thrown again... We need another Hinamizawan story. Isn't that right, "Rika"? You old wine-drinking geezer with an attitude. - ... Oh right, the reason for Rena's text being pink from the very beginning is still a mystery. I can understand the red text (descent into madness and paranoia), but the pink? Mmm, I don't know about that. But yes it's adorable and must be taken home! Haooooooooo~ - ... - Not just normal crazy, no. Super Crazy Rena! I've grown more fond of her in general over time actually. Guess it's like that when it comes to most of these characters though. - "Come on, hatchet girl!" (with mop in hand!) - :D:D - ... A frog sitting in a well doesn't need to get interested in the world outside of the well, right? And now for the last two arcs! Perhaps the best ones even? We shall see. [spoiler=Higurashi arc 6]

You know what's great about this anime so far? -----> All the characters are good and funny. And I doubt that's going to change later. Anyway, nice (geeky) episode. [spoiler=EP2]Actually got some explanation (if you wanna call it that) for how stuff works... I'll take it! Loved the ending also for SOME reason. Yes. "Check if game works in a sleepy haze -> it doesn't work... -> go to bed -> sleep -> zoom out on sleeping Sasami -> The End." No words spoken. I dunno... it was just funny to me somehow. [spoiler=EP2]Damn, Sasami's battlestation is impressive to say the least! Also, let's not forget the Red Bull stash. [spoiler=EP2] [spoiler=EP2]Tsurugi-sensei is perverted and interested in ero games?... Mmmmmmm yeeeeeeees... Approved! [spoiler=EP2]Thought she looked really nice here. And no, can't get enough of that cool voice of hers. It's addictive. Extra side note: When he has the paper bag over his head, Kamiomi reminds me of Faust from Guilty Gear, hehe...

Went with Hoshizora over Kamidori in the end, because hey, better story... which is ultimately what I care most about when it comes to VNs.

Where did you download the game from? This site? Piratebay? Make sure: 1. The .iso was extracted successfully with no hiccups from the rar files. 2. The .iso is not mounted in Daemon Tools (might not actually matter) 3. That you're browsing to and using one of the .iso files I mentioned above in the emulator - directly. Nothing else. Also, try using Boot CDVD (full) instead of (fast). Just in case. I use (fast) myself though.

So... 1. You installed the emulator 2. Went through the configuration wizard without hassle (choosing a bios along the way) 3. Then went CDVD -> Iso Selector -> Browse... -> either 1. "Sakura Taisen 5.ISO", or 2. "Sakura Wars -So Long, My Love- English Voice Over disc [sLUS-21927].iso" 4. And finally System -> Boot CDVD (fast) ... correct? Make sure you have "Iso" on in the CDVD menu, like this: I just tested both of the above iso files myself by the way. They both work, so there's nothing wrong with them at least. Also, I assume you haven't actually changed your plugin settings a bunch. Because that's really not necessary to do if you just want to start a game.

I liked it a lot as well! Only one episode so far, but still. Unique art, yes, and that I can appreciate. Just a great overall design to it really. Gotta love the voice acting also of course. Those three sisters = reeeeeally awesome. Well, the kind of randomness going on in this anime is definitely for me. Looking forward to the next episodes. Same here pretty much. Well... I've barely watched any anime whatsoever, so yea, Chobits is probably the saddest one I've seen so far.

Liar-soft art... yes... it is in fact glorious. Uniquely so. And the music as well. Also, can't forget the nice looking female protagonist (which is rather rare) here... quite a major reason why I wanna read this one actually, other than the fact that it's Liar-soft. By the way, have you read Forest yet OMA? Can't remember if you've mentioned that already or not.

Well, wouldn't be right of me to put my own favourite on here just yet, having only completed 1-4 of Higurashi so far. That said, I love it either way of course! Can't get enough of Hinamizawa. *edited because I didn't think of Umineko translating (poorly) to "Seacat"... nope, seriously didn't... now I might look a bit less silly! (don't worry battler, wouldn't intentionally troll you like that here anyway, hehe)*
