Will it still be illiteracy if they know how to write in other languages? It's a pain to learn the Chinese characters, so they know how to speak it, but they don't want to learn how to write or read the Chinese language, and it corresponds to killer's post. It's fine since Chinese language is the third main language in my country after all, with English and Malay being the first and second.

I am not sure either how that happens. lol I don't even read that part in your post. I am more concern about A Profile than I am about Overdrive titles though.

I think I should also go out of my way to say that A Profile is actually very good for what it is. However, to enjoy it will depends on why you read A Profile in the first place. If people are looking for a sweet love story (expectation can be really amusing), they're obviously going to be disappointed because of the heroine's circumstances, but that in no way make the actual story less great. I also don't get all those complaints about Rizu's being very annoying either. She's actually a pretty good imouto character, and her route is the best in A Profile followed by Mio and Miku. In fact, if it wasn't because of G-senjou no Maou true route and the damn epic epilogue, I would say that A Profile is equal to G-sen. Granted, the story and the character isn't for everyone taste and that's the only reason why I don't recommend it to people. An amount of tolerant may be required for some readers. tl;dr A Profile is great so read it if you think you could handle it. That is all.

Not a recent news, but zyk from VNS has officially retired from translating Hatsuyuki Sakura. So, once again I wish good luck to UmikazeVN and the new translator for Hatsusaku project. It would be damn nice to have at least one Saga Planets title translated.

I'm soooo glad no one told me this before or I would have missed good games. (It's not like I would listen to them anyway though.) Anyway, don't stay away from: -Grisaia no Kajitsu -Rewrite -Sharin no Kuni -Muv-luv series -Utawarerumono unless you've bad taste.

I'm not a native English speaker, but in Malaysia they do teach the English language as a compulsory subject in primary and secondary school. Since the country is multi-racial and the population ratio is about even, knowing the four main languages of this country is the best way to go. So, right now I know Malay, Javanese, English, and a bit of Chinese and Tamil languages (writing something in these two languages is still a bitch) which is enough to hold decent conversations. Currently learning Japanese Language in a slowpoke pace.
