still playing demonbane, finished koihime musou. i hate the protagonist of demonbane. sigh. someone asks him "why do you fight risking your life against the forces of evil?" and he answers "dunno..mybe cuz it give me bad aftertaste if i don't save innocent ppl" (all the while destroying every building in the city). I also do not particularly like mecha's. But demonbane has its good parts as well. Like the nightmare sequences, the cat like girl, the antagonist, the butler, the ending of Al (the only route i've finished atm)

koihime musou. Decent. 6/10. Teenage girls are now legendary generals and war heroes in the battlefield - amazing idea! "charge!" "motivation speech" "teehee, i'm gonna kill u!" "oops, i missed. oh well, the battle is over, so u better surrender so our pacifist lord(the protagonist) can H u" "bai bai!" (After battle ends, yes this is how it really went in one scene) The gameplay has potential, sadly it is a porn game, and so, never a challenge. H scenes galore. Some heroines i like, some i dislike(rinrin..ugh). Fight scenes are boring and tedious (no description, just dialogues like "hah! hah! hah! hah!" or "here! take my spear of heaven"). You can do whatever heroines you like at first, but for completion ofc you need to do all the heroines(and for the harem end). Or you can skip it all and still reach the default good ending with Aisha. the story is good..i guess. 6/10 is decent. Saji sounded like kyosuke from lb(can't be bothered to look up if they are the same VA), so yay.

I wish the short vn's (like true remembrance, may sky, collage, narcissu, red shift, etc). I love reading those, they may not have the best artwork, and they are usually unvoiced, but they have such awesome stories. The one i've recently read and loved, may sky, it was so full of vibrant imagery, the two character interacting with each other felt so fresh, it was very immersive, and, i loved the execution (i was almost holding my breath at one or two points in the story). And lets compare that with what i'm currently reading..guy falls into the world and immediately allies with beautiful female generals to fight other female generals and engage in you-know-what. yea, big difference, so its nice to have that kind of change once in a while. another thing i must point out, since i am disconnected from japanese markets, and even from vn/eroge fanbase, when i say "popular" i don't necessarily mean popular in the market..it just has to be something noticeable for me..which is..idk

yea its good. if you've played sengoku rance, i'm sure you'll like it. currently i'm playing hoshizora no memoria (finished with asuho, komono, and kosame routes) and shinigami no kiss wa(almost done with this one). Both have some relation to shinigami(ok, the second has more than "some"). Both are pretty decent. There is this thing called FVP where you can zoom in and out of a particular cg in hoshizora, its pretty cool. I like the artwork of hoshizora, and the chars i feel are quite appealing and "Cute"(i guess that was the intended effect, they have tried quite hard) I have a lot of srpg's left(cf2, agarest,and some more which i've left in a half finish state for a long time), idk if i will be able to find the motivation to finish those
