You could always use a proxy like ultrasurf. The bad thing, using such a programm will also lower your internet speed. A easy thing would be the "track me not" addon for firefox. This blocks google from finding out what you're searching for. Well it doesn't hide your IP adress or anything but you may want to use it too. Oh and : "hide a IP-address easily" and "something that anyone can do" doesn't fit together.

Fuck this! So yeah, I had to split my comment, here's the rest babe~!
I didn't play tsukihime up to now, it's since 1 year on my laptop though. I still have to finish some other stuff.
Katahane - It's all about the chars but sadly I don't like any of them that much...it's just a lot of blablabla.
Higurashi - On hold because I fuckin hate those joking around scenes at the beginning of each chapter.
Cross Channel - Funny but senseless, I'll probably get tired of it pretty soon.
Shikkoku no Sharnoth - Only good Visual Novel I'm currently playing, the heroine is just damn awesome, same goes for art and bgm.

I actually know what you're talking about, it was the same with me and Eien no Aselia. I just hated everything about it, especially the fighting system and that fantasy language. And the art was horrible as well, at least in my opinion. I had no other way than dropping it. Well as for f/sn, I liked the game all in all but I think it's slightly overrated. It had many good scenes sure but also some very boring parts. And why the hell does everyone love saber that much? I found her just naiv and uninteresting, same goes for fuckin shirou. Rider was alright, I personally thought that kirei (that priest) and caster were the best chars of the visual novel. Oh and are you maybe also a person who finds it easier to remember the negativ things of a visual novel? Because that's sadly my way of doing things. Even if I gave 9/10 I've still problems with naming the good points of that game.
