Usually I only play the routes which I'm interested in. Why? Well I don't see the sense in playing a route of a heroine I can't stand, I won't enjoy it anyway. That's the reason why I don't care about unfinished projects.

Like Daeve already said, it's a screenshot of the remake. I finished it last week and it was...disappointing. I expected awesome stuff like Sengoku Rance but all I got was a boring story and a shitty level system. =\

I voted for this because I'm quite happy with the current situation and fanbase.

I played the memorial version and didn't like it at all. The new ending and scenes felt poorly written and I personally think that the original one fits the game title way better. Anyway, each their own but I prefer the normal version.

Anyway, I'm currently kind of bored and will write a little review/rant...just because I can. Description Art At the beginning of the game I didn't like the art that much. I've no idea why but it's probably due to games like Sharnoth (liar soft) I played before. I mean Cross Channel doesn't stand a chance against the liar soft art. Anyway, I somehow started to accept the art after playing the game for some more hours and ended up liking it. Actually, the soft art was quite fitting. Music Unfortuntaley the music wasn't enjoyable. I mean it wasn't a pain for the ears but I can't remember more than one good track right after finishing the game. The music was for me kinda non-existent. Like it was there but I never payed any attention to it. And it's this time not the fault of my sound settings. And there aren't any good track when it comes to emotional scenes either, that's a fuckin no-go. So yeah, the music's pretty bad. I kind of liked him at the beginning, same goes for his humor. It was at first damn funny but if you've to hear the same stuff over and over again, it'll become rather boring. Anyway, I found his dark side very interesting but like I said before, he annoyed me like hell. On the other hand, I didn't like most characters anyway (same goes for that sempai bitch), kind of explains my memory loss. Whatever, her route was okay because I was able to understand her problem. She as a character was sadly damn uninteresting and so I didn't pay any attention to her route. I just can't stand those plain characters. I'm your sempai~! You've to follow the rules or I'll get angry~! I especially liked her easy-going attitude. Her route was surprisingly boring, except the cool ending; where she killed everybody. After she lost her memories of all weeks she turned out to be a damn crybaby. She raged around like a freakin viking and there was also some tension in her route. She was the only character with real emotions, so emotions which I could feel. The emotions of the other chars were kind of artificially, if you know what I mean. Anyway, her reaction after finding out about the past of her brother was way too crazy. I'm your slave and will do everything you want...wat? Had the weakest route I've ever seen. She tied up the protagonist and blowjobed him every day. Just why? But here's the best thing, Taichi says some smart sentences and she's suddenly brainwashed. Are you fuckin kidding me? That confession towards Taichi was also way too fast. At first they're fighting around like they would be no tomorrow, then blush, then sex...? A problem of many visual novels. Too fast and obviously too unrealstic. Also, what's up with her being unable to even make a cup of ramen? I mean sure, she lives in a rich house and stuff but that's too much. I've to wonder, can she even dress herself? Sex scenes Can't say anything about them because they're a big pain in the ass. I mainly skipped them. I mean the protagonist was very perverted, so I didn't want to read any oversized sex scenes. Oh there's also an all age version of cross channel btw, would have been wiser to play that one. Story I really liked the idea of that week loop thingy and the solution for that problem was also a good one but...I didn't worked out for me. I can't remember a single part where I really felt with one of the characters. And 30hours playtime were too much. Seriously, the main problem, so that week thingy, was kicked into the background. It was probably supposed to be like that but I didn't like that idea at all. Another annoying part were the routes of the last week where everything was repeated. I had to read the same lines again and again. The ending was actually quite thoughtful but again not my cup of tea. I mean it wasn't a big surprise that Taichi's friends could listen to his broadcast while using 'that' radio. Most characters were annoying, music was kind of bad and the story wasn't very emotional, at least for me. And the whole visual novel was too long, probably because of the huge amount of "intelligent" lines of fuckin Taichi. A weird game which you'll like...or not, but definitely try it. 6,5/10

I finished the game some minutes ago and it was surprisingly enjoyable but also kind of disappointing. Just to say it. I'm not a kotori fanboy so I'll probably say things fuckin directly because there's no kotori bonus for me. I played the visual novel nevertheless because...you know, it was christmas time and I remembered that the fandisc contains a christmas story.(there are actually two) Anyway, here are the different stories which were packed into that kotori fandisc thingy. After you survived that boring wall of text above, which I just copied from mangagamer (copy and paste ftw), here's finally my review. I wrote to every story an extra review because there's no way I could do an 'all in all review'. I'll also try to not use any real spoilers so that people can read my review and get a feeling what this visual novel's about without getting spoiled. It's in short a kotori only version of da capo plus cummincation. Sadly I didn't know this before and so I wanted to play another route...which wasn't obviously possible. If you are interested, it was that miko which I found somewhat cute. So yeah like I said, you can read some scenes of other heroines too but you won't be able to play their routes, which sucks pretty hard but that's also understandable. Anyway, it's actually the same story like in the normal da capo game besides some new characters and scenes. I guess the whole thing is mainly there to give people who didn't read the da capo game the fundament for understanding the other stories; Cpt. Obvious is back. I personally found it rather boring but on the other hand, I already read her story so that's probably the reason for it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2.&4. Like I said before, I wanted to play a visual novel featuring christmas because it was christmas eve. So I started to play them and what the hell? There wasn't any christmas feeling or atmosphere at all. It was just a big fail. It's like eating an awesome looking cookie which tastes like nothing. The beginning of 2. was kind of nice though and I hoped for a sweet and short story but nope, the world is cruel. It was just boring and not christmas related besides the date. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3. What can I say? There were two or three good scenes (at least something) but the rest...well...I mean what can you expect from the story description? And here comes the big suprise! This story was actually pretty good. Yeah honestly, I'm not lying. The first part was boring stuff but then some serious shit happened to Nemu and because of that the story changed into something awesome. Then there was some decent stuff mainly featuring kotori which's fine because it's a kotori fandisc. So yeah, up to that point some stuff happened but nothing really interesting. But then! Near the end (at 75%-80% of the story) the visual novel turned into something damn mind fucking. I won't say anything more. You know, spoiling is mean. Well, there was a huge problem though. The story quality went up to 8/10 but then there was a cut and...damn, why? I mean the whole thing had a huge potential but it ended in the most stupid way ever. Afterwards I realized, while reading a walktrough, that I didn't played the real end. So I was dumb enough to think that the real route would end in the way I wanted it. It was obviously even worse. I may mentioned mainly negative things but that story was allright and you'll probably enjoy it even if you aren't a kotori fanboy. And hey, nemu was finally good for something. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 6. You can unlock those little stories if you're chosing the right options in the da capo kotori version and innocent finale. Well they're short and mostly there because...I don't know to be honest. Anyway, they're okay and had some side informations about different things so I can't complain that much. I guess they're just there. Ah and I wasn't able to unlock all of them...I don't care anyway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 7. Sex. This story was mainly about sex. Blablabla and sex. They have nearly every day sex and fuck, if being married means to have every day sex...I never want to be a husband. Sometimes even heroes are exhausted right? Like mangagamer wrote there's a new girl in the city and...mabye that's a spoiler but I guess you are smart enough to figure out the obvious...you can cheat on Kotori. And yeah I did that. Sorry Kotori but I wanted at least some drama because nothing happened. But again nope. Even after being an asshole nothing happened. The whole thing was only there for some sex scenes. I don't regret playing kotori love exp but it wasn't something great either. It's worth to spend some time on especially if you like kotori. If you want to play the game then definitely go for the innocent finale thingy. It was the best story of the whole fandisc but sadly missed out its huge potential. There was another thing I realized. Kotori was in each story another kotori. I had sometimes the feeling that there was just a girl who looked like Kotori because she acted totally different then she's supposed to. That wasn't always a bad thing though. And just for all the haters. This is MY review and so obviously MY opinion. You are free to see things in a completely different light. 6,3/10
