I started to play the game yesterday evening, after awesome desi-chan gave me the sora patch, and the game is really enjoyable. Especially the atmosphere, so art and bgm, is just beautiful. It's true that I mainly care about sora but I'm also interested in that loli shrin maiden heroine. Btw, the game opening makes it look like the loli heroine would be the main one. Same here. She's one of those characters where you read 3 lines and instantly know that you won't like her. This forum would rather turn into something like a church. The church of Ixrec, amen. That's not even funny. =\

Not sure but probably yes. I mean it depends, some people are more emotional when seeing the whole story animated and some people prefer the deeper visual novel version. But by all means, play the game, it's worth it especially when you're interested in another heroine than nagisa.

I second this. You'll definitely cry at the end of both visual novels. The true route of clannad is a little bit hard to unlock so be sure to use a walktrough.

Usually I only play the routes which I'm interested in. Why? Well I don't see the sense in playing a route of a heroine I can't stand, I won't enjoy it anyway. That's the reason why I don't care about unfinished projects.

Anime/Visual Novel/Manga --> Live Action 2D --> 3D Awesome --> Boring

Like Daeve already said, it's a screenshot of the remake. I finished it last week and it was...disappointing. I expected awesome stuff like Sengoku Rance but all I got was a boring story and a shitty level system. =\
