Ivan's theory sounds about right. Certain publishers will not work with MG unless they have a pretty good DRM system (in this case, the change) And the region locking theory makes sense. There was that whole issue that was brought up with Ef the first tale and MG still having to censor HCGs, even for a localized release. That "battery" feature is probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen though. If you go offline with the game, the battery drains and you have to recharge it by going back online. Hopefully that is never implemented, because that would only hurt the paying customers that

Have you tried deleting it via registry before installing it again? I didn't think of it at the time until ILT mentioned it last night, but I think you left/weren't there. Basically, go to Start --> type in Regedit and run it. (Make sure Ef is uninstalled first) Go to HKEY_Local_Machine --> Software --> try to locate the minori or ef folder and delete it. Now try installing it again.

No, no.. what's nice about the Reborn version is that you get the option to skip it from the start. You don't need a 100% save.

If it gives you the same error, i'm not sure. Try compatibility mode or right-clicking and running as an administrator. What does the error report say when you click "click here"? You can try downloading a codec pack like CCCP - Combined Community Codec Pack and running it.

You only need to worry about the crack file if you went with the MG version. Don't have to worry about that with Ef A Fairy Tale of the Two. Install it again..try installing it at the default location instead of under your documents or whatever. Also, disable that check for updates box.

Speaking of Grisaia, Makina route is fully translated now.

Natsumika.. Wakamoto.. Kenichi as my favorite protag ever.. this is one badass VN for sure. Good review. I also want to mention (not sure if you did play it or not) that you should DEFINITELY play the Sharin no Kuni fandisc. Just play the Houzuki route though. It's definitely something you HAVE to play after you finish Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo.
