  1. Buy a nuke? CAN DO! Now all I need is to glue together an ICBM launchpad. Did I mention I'd be posting a lot?
  2. As a man who has won many awards for being awesome, spanning across six languages, five continents, and two planets, I challenge you for the eminent self-appointed role of Erogegame forum's most awesome guy.
  3. KEEP BACK CITIZENS I'm a professional DOUBLE POSTER.
  4. O RLY? How do I know you're not a time traveler, alien, esper, or slider? Nice to meet you too!
  5. Did I mention I would be compulsively posting? I LOVE YOU ALL.
  6. Hi, I'm Cyclone. Cy or Sike for short. This post serves as my introduction. The starting point here is a short sentence to grab attention. Before long, it branches into a section where I reveal a little about myself. Over here are further details that add onto the previous sentence. Right now I'm telling my age as well as the timeline of my experience with visual novels. Subtle joke goes here. And this is a short compilation of my other hobbies, here, here, here, here, and here. This is another subtle joke to finalize the paragraph. The sentence starting with this clause is where I begin
  7. The Story So Far: Trolls enter the ballroom Numbers fight numbers to infinity Internet macros dance with memes Trolls juggle with flames Punny puns are punned And the trolls triumph What fascinating exploits will unfold next?
  8. But I didn't even get to hug you and tussle your luscious hair.
  9. Great post right here. Reposting this for Dan because it's stuck at the bottom of page 3. Speaking of 3s, to add onto point 3, eating before bedtime is a bad idea because it forces digestive parts of the body to be more active. It's one of the prime culprits for disrupting people's circadian rhythms. Another thing, people who have problems sleeping tend to be tense. So when trying to sleep, relax your muscles, preferably one group at a time. Starting with the legs, then moving through the torso, back, arms, and neck muscles. This will enhance the sleeping process. If all else fails, find
  10. Welcome to the internet. We'll be your guides.
  11. Ah, my fault for being unclear. It stand for Internet Relay Chat, and compared to AIM, ICQ, and MSN, is fairly old, but IRC is the most reliable for a stable 24/7 room. For those unfamiliar with using an IRC client, there are ways to integrate a simple one with the forum; it would be fairly straightforward. But it's been made overwhelmingly clear the shoutbox is all that's currently necessary.
  12. If money is no object, try googling for private proxy services.
  13. Comparatively, the average person who browses the internet knows how to operate and maintain an SQL server. I don't own any; I order them for my sister and some friends. If a statue would be one of the most expensive things you owned, the anxiety of protecting it wouldn't be worth the trouble. But if it's something you sincerely want, I wish you luck in entering a scenario where you can spoil yourself silly.
  14. Sorry if this has been asked before or if it's sitting under my nose and I just can't see it, but is there an IRC or some other form of real time chat channel for us to discuss in? If there isn't, shall the opportunity come for one to be set up? I imagine it would be thrilling to join in.
  15. Now there's a powerful scene if anime ever had one. And it steered the anime to greater heights, rather than lose the audience, which is strangely remarkable. It has its effects outside of anime, too. The 1926 film version of Faust was rated an average 6 on IMDB before Madoka aired. Now it's a solid 8.
  16. Really? Where'd you order from? I rarely break over $60 for a single figure. Also, believe me, if one were to put their own hands toiling over a meticulously detailed sculpting and painting process across the span of a work week, clocking at least 30 hours total into the craft, one wouldn't merely call it a tiny plastic thing.
  17. Without a doubt. I hear the reason its debut sold out in 30 minutes is because its writing reputation was built by Higurashi. I'm glad the clever internets already finished the graphic tweaks for that one.
  18. Kara no Shoujo, Sekien no Inganock, and Umineko, not necessarily in that order. I think I have a preference for mystery and lavish, extravagant art. Great atmosphere, interesting characters and dialogue, and lots of intrigue. Umineko for PC has a graphic overhaul in the works that's currently at about 60% completeness. If anyone's interested and wants to keep up, the link is: Tweaking Umineko Wiki Saya no Uta is up there too. Only a bleak temperament like the game's can viscerally evoke intense, desolate existential emotions. And it does it well, if one has the right frame of mind.
  19. Yeah, and they also learned the trick with sophisticated grammar!
  20. Madoka is as perfect as the crystal formations of a snowflake. I look forward to the directions its idea will take.
  21. Never been caught, never will! I take effort in totally preventing direct evidence of my alone time, taught in the ways of the masters of sneakjitsu. Closcan, sounds like you and your cool sister are close.
  22. The changes seem to be superficial and are a problem of the differences of the technologies used to present them. There's a term for this--isomorphism--that can be used to describe an equal bearing between two adaptions, which is lost when changes in pacing and storytelling techniques must be used. For example, sight gags are wonderful on video, but lose snappiness as text, and simply don't work on radio. On a similar level, books emphasize detail: Thing like extended soliloquies, description porn, scene context; on the other hand, videos are amazing at bringing fight sequences to life. I w
  23. If there's any manhwa to read, it is quite veritably that most veritable of manhwas, Veritas. As NetSage said, regardless of the ending, the energy it leaves with the reader can be an impetus to explore further realms.
