It's exactly as you say (about the dramatic part). At the start of the episode when Oreki was talking to Satoshi, they animated it so intensely that even the voices didn't match the over-dramatic tone, it was an overkill right there. Also they indeed seem to care way too much about these trivial things and tend to overdo it on the drama. The resolve was not bad, I liked the conclusion of this "arc" way better then the "Hyouka arc", there is still the question of who is that senpai who was chatting with Irisu, you could kinda guess at this point, but it's too early to think about it and maybe it's not all that relevant. Overall it was an enjoyable episode for me, it had 1 or 2 laughs in it as well - Oreki's monotone " watashi kininarimasu " was kinda funny.

Not much to "care" about at this point, since " This patch is only to prove translation is being done... therefore nothing more than the opening of the game is translated.. there has been no image editing as of yet so the menus are still in Japanese. " Also, people only care about School Days because it just came out, so it's the "next VN to play" for some.

Do you get the same error with the unpatched (original) game ? Try messing around with the compatibility options, run as Administrator, also update your graphics drivers (in case you're using some old version or something).

Can you go to your Documents and see if you have a folder called "FAVORITE\星空のメモリア" ? See if it's empty or there are some files in it. Also check if you have a folder here - "C:\Users\\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\CROSSNET\Memoria" and see if anything is there. Where did you install the game to (Program Files or some other folder (like c:\games\...) ? And lastly, do you have any strange letters in your Windows username (example - ú, é, ü) ? What exactly does RScript error say ? When you get the error, open up the details and copy what's written there (under module). If the movie plays normally and then the game crashes, try running the original (untranslated) game - Uninstall the game, delete all the leftover folders and install it again. Run it in Japanese and see if the game will still crash like that. If it plays fine, then the problem is in the patch - in that case install the game somewhere outside Program Files (try installing it to "C:\Games\..." because there is a possibility that your Windows permissions block some files to be copied from the patch installer and the game crashes due to lack of said files. And ye, as OMA said - it's normal to get the error when closing the game. Let me know if it worked out or if I'm totally wrong. Also try to isolate the problem, so it's easier to figure out what's wrong.

I really liked this episode. First off, Chitanda was not in it (she was for 10sec, it doesn't count) so it was kinda different then all of the previous episodes. I kinda like the female Oreki better then her. Also, Oreki got to business real fast in this episode and the scenes between Irisu and him were pretty good imo. Overall this ep was an improvement over the last 2 so-so ones.
