If it didn't, we would have craploads of VNs coming out left and right. Licensing and some other issues are there also, but it still takes them very long to put VNs out. Example: If you give Mangagamer Rewrite to translate, they would probably release it in 2 years or so. While Amaterasu will finish it in less then a year. Jast is even worse, they take already finished fan translations and it still takes them ages to release it.

They just said that it will get an English localization, not when. The game is not even out in Japan right now, so it's gonna be a while till they translate it. Around 1-2 years I would say or if they rush it like Edelweiss, then it will be out faster with crapfest translation.

I agree. If you play only the best VNs, you'll run out of stuff to play really fast. This one was pretty bad, but I still spent time on it. I usually 100 % finish all VNs that I start or at least I try, but that's just me :>

I actually finished all routes in this game. My thoughts on it are not very good either. The common route is kinda too long and boring, also there is some pointless half way split in the game. After the "1st part" there are some very pointless "episodes" that are about some cats(the game is made in episodes for some reason). The main heroines are just a cardboard cutout stereotypes and the 3 endings a just slightly different e.g. only 2-3 different scenes for the heroine you chose at the end. It's not the worst game ever, but it's very painful to get through since the MC gets so much abuse mos

I haven't tried it myself, but that's kinda strange. Why would they do a patch that skips the scenes instead of just leaving them untranslated?

Personally I'm waiting for the EX version. Not because of h-scenes, but because of 3(?) new routes. Better to play it all in one go when all the content is available, imo at least. Edit: I hope someone picks up Kud Wafter for translation as well.

Ecstasy has extra routes and scenes, which are not translated. An Ex patch exists so you can actually run the "original" translation under the Ecstasy version, but all(?) the extra content that is not present in the original version is left untranslated. They noted that they translated some new lines from the Ex version, but just a few. It's not worth getting Ex version yet.

Doubt they will do a bad job. They worked on some nice titles and they were translated just fine. I'm just hoping they keep translating stuff and don't disband/get C&D'd or something any time soon.

Rewrite is a Very long (> 50 hours) according to vndb. 13 % of that is ALOT.

Can you specify on Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo - 14/18 scripts translated, since it doesn't say which game in the series it is ? Also I agree about Amaterasu :> Edit: It seems that it's this one - Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o: Tenshi no Hanabira Zome

I found this 2 cd version, 1.1GB Download Jewel Knights Crusaders Torrent - KickassTorrents Maybe the one you linked is highly compressed or it doesn't have voices (I've read something about that on VN Meido)
