I seriously thought that project died awhile ago - a nice surprise. As for Irotoridori, I'm guessing they have to start from scratch huh? The guy working on it went MIA back in '13 as far as I've heard. Still, I'll "wait and see" I look forward to it, but I'll see how they do with Sakusaku first before getting hopeful. Voice patch for Higurashi is pure win - too bad I'm abstaining from reading the series until it's ALL re-released. sigh, why didn't someone make this voice patch for the originals? =/ (which i stil have buried somwhere on my HD) oh well can't really complain~

It's not really about what "individuals" like/dislike - nor even personal morality - it boils down to societal opinion. If enough people where to notice and take offense, it could become a scape goat for the mob mentality. It's easy to fall into the naive common sense "we all have different feelings and views, let's just agree to disagree.", until a larger group of people decide your way is wrong and should be condemned. Suddenly it doesn't matter what anyone has to say or think, only that you agree with them~ And that's my sleepy random musing on majority rule.

Pretty much, morality never really played a role in it - at least from their side. It was more likely related to *blanks* recent circumstances.

A few countries consider some of the content in that Vn to be highly illegal (even if the hscenes are taken out, some of those CGs and sprites are still pretty suspect), has a high risk to spark controversy beyond the standard amount. Time will tell though I guess.

Wonder if some brave soul will consider creating a voice patch using Higurashi Sui's PS3/PS Vita files. I gotta admit, they actually did a really good job translating Princess Evangile. I think better of them now then I previously had.

Honestly I'm not really that impatient for S - it'll be nice to see it finished, but what I'm really hoping for is A - with the new girls that they teased in S (Benio, Yoshino, etc).

Strange, I tend to notice that kind of stuff but never saw anything that really stood out in Yandere's work, other then the odd typo... am I using a different patch from you? (Yandere's final patch was the Wanko patch) Don't sweat it Helve, haters always gonna hate, Dies irae could get translated and someone would still find something to bitch about it. S is pretty porn heavy, you got your uncensoring work cut out for you, heh.
