I have not play that game, but from the look of it maybe give Venus Blood series a try. It also has gameplay, tentacles, dating sim(?) etc. There's also a currently ongoing KS for one of the installment VenusBlood HOLLOW English Localization Project by Ninetail — Kickstarter You can also give a try for Galaxy Angel. Need more info that just not "open". What error message, what windows are you running, where did you get the game from, was the game an .iso or .exe, do you have JP locale, and so on.

Got mini-progress today: Once again the graphic and sceneries are so pretty. Just imagine this hallway of shallow water, while you can see the ocean outside of the windows give me a sense of calmness and peace.
