i recommend you set your pc in Jap region to play any kinds of VN... its easier and you dont have to bother to changed it again~~ and yes...you need Jap locale to play this one as well~~

its like what harl said.. for the main characters... you can equip a jewel to increase the skill mastery level.. and....if you equip a weapon that equals to your skill level.. it actually raise more than you use a weaker weapon -
