Hi guys, i've just bought myself a new computer, and i don't remember what exactly i need to install to play VN's like this one. I've installed the japanese language pack and am currently running on japanese locale, but what else do i need to do to actually make the vn start? Whenever i try to open it, nothing really happens. I've had my old pc for a very long time, and i've been playing Daitoshokan on that as well without issues. Thanks for the help in advance, hnl

Running on Windows 10 with Japanese locale on, tried all the various settings after starting the application main menu loads fine, but once I click Start I get a screen with trees and sound but an error pops up in japanese but it says something about scp.Avg_CharaParam[n] looked at the Setup application thats in the files, but its all in japanese so I dont have the courage to mess with any of it. Nevermind, a Reboot seemed to fix it... was gona delete the thread but doesn't seem to be an option?

I've been trying to learn Japanese and i was wondering if anyone knew about a site i can download eroge raw? There are a lot of good games on this site but looking at vndb makes me realise just how much hasn't been translated... Hello there, I finished right now the download of all 33 parts (every part except for the last are 204,800 KB, last one 190,885 KB) and it doesn't work. I downloaded already other VNs and they all work, so the Japanese local language should be no problem. Also I have the bink2w32.dll in my file (picture: http://i.imgur.com/Lyan7Db.png) Besides that, the error is here http://i.imgur.com/n2Z6Iuz.png - It's Japanese, so no idea what it tries to say. Trying to download from here for the first time (decided on Otomaid@Cafe), and while I've got the locale bit, I'm not sure I've done the data.xp3 part right?? There's one in part 1 of the dl, and one in part 2, but I don't know how to combine them? The error message is entirely in Japanese (a bump up from ?????). I can try to answer any qs you may have, but please be gentle -- it's my first time.

I have Majikoi, but I don't have a noDVD or noCD for it. I don't want to play the English version of it, so I need a noDVD for the original version. It uses AlphaROM. Does anyone know where to get noDVD/noCD for Japanese VNs in general? Thanks! -

When I try to install the game an error pops up. I think it's asking me to insert the disk or something which I've already mounted. Could somebody help me please? I'm a little new to visual novels, this is my first Japanese one.

I've tried VNR, but the translations are always too spotty and barely ever make grammatical sense. Even when I try games that have both an English and Japanese version like KaraKara so I know what it is supposed to say, VNR's translations are still way off. I was wondering if anyone else found a better translator because it seems Lewdness will never be translated and I really liked Starless' art.

Hi ! Sorry for creating a new topic, I didn't find anywhere else. So, I'm used to installing VN (bought or dl), even in japanese. But for the first time, a game, Hoshizora e kakaru hashi, once launched, can't show me the text and put randomly roman letters, japanese and punctuation. I would like to play it in japanese, but even after having been in japanese locale since the installation, and using netlea, the game can't show the text. If someone can tell me what to do about it, please Have a nice day

i downloaded and extracted all the files and cant seem to figure out how to apply the English patch and still run the game without a bunch of notifications in Japanese followed by a crash to desktop, anyone got any advice
