Koihime Musou

Time travel? Are you kidding me?!

I eagerly rushed out of my dorm to try and catch a burglar who snuck into my school, but next thing I knew, I was laying in a vast, open prairie. "What the hell?!" I thought, but my amazement didn't last long before I was surrounded by a group of men armed with glistening weapons! "Leave your clothes if you value your life," they said. What era is that line from?!

I tried to resist them, but they started spouting gibberish before swinging their weapons at me. I thought, "This is it for me!" But then, a black-haired beauty appeared before me. She agilely swung her huge spear, and sent those men packing. As I respectfully thanked her, she began to name herself.

"My name is Kan'u. My Lord, may we fight together and quell these wars?"

Starts off slow but ohoh does it get good later on... Still hoping for a translation of the second game no matter how doubtful it may be ;A;

this game is one of my favorite games or probably my favorite :)

Good game overall, i enjoyed the story although at the end there are just too many Hscenes, main plot is on second plan.

The strategical part of the game isnt really demanding, as you mostly defend and get reinforcments when defeated.

Oh and you have to download Koihime Musou Voice Patch, I played half of game without voices, cause i wasnt aware of patch :/

I agree with the others, This makes for an excellent eroge. It may not have the depth of story some might look for, but it has a strong Adult content, and a gameplay mechanic to help even out the slow points in the story. The characters are quite diverse with a good replayability due to the unique nature of scene choices between battles. Probably in my top 10.

definitely one of my favorite games. I really loved all the characters (maybe not Enshou). My favorites were Renfa, Ran, Sei, and Aisha.

I relly want a translation for the second game as well.

@Olaf - but from what i heard, Koihime Musou is better without voice patch. because the voice are not synchronized with the text.

You know when you get a good story+good characters+H-scenes+H-scenes+H-scenes... seems to be awesome

Yep, there were times when the voice got annoying since it didnt allign with the text and it doesnt stop until another voice overwrites it, but still the game is better with the voice patch.

I was surprised when I saw that the voice patches were larger than the game itself.

I can't change the game into windowed mode during the battle. That's my gripe. I got used to Mangagamer's UI, but this one isn't the same.

Yep, you absolutely can't.

The battle is really easy and simple but it can drags on for a looong time, especially if the general keep using their power. (I remember fallen asleep in front of my laptop during one of the battle.)

It's really troublesome that we can't save or change to the windowed mode during battle.

I can just give a little advice, endure it. Just try to endure it. (or find a 100% save, that is.)

But once the player get into the H-scenes or the comedy part, he will be fully awake like he had just been injected with a force of life.

And then when he reaches the End, He will most likely be quite disappointed

and some of the battles make me bang my head against the desk out of despair because of how long they were (and how pointless because you cant even fucking lose)

I just got to the part where Chousen appears. IS HE VOICED BY NORIO WAKAMOTO?????? I have to recheck it, I almost doubled over when I heard his voice, considering I just finished Muv-Luv (he voiced the base commander) and I also had Sharin a few months ago. I really can't imagine it, but my ears are screaming Wakamoto when I hear it. Also, I'm in love with the silent type, and Ren's demeanor is so much like Ayamine's from Muv-Luv.
