Even though it's not eroge and not really caught either but oh well. I was using my cell to look up... doujin stuff right before I went to bed one night and just put my phone in sleep mode. Then he needed my cell to look up a number (it used to be his but since he barely even used it we traded phones since his was much better) and he turned it on. Then he said, "Damn he got three girls at once." I thought, Oh shit! and I quickly took the phone and exited it. Then he said, "You know I don't care what you look at," but that still sorta embarrassing especially when they were lolis. If my dad caught a glimpse of something he shouldn't, he would get really serious and insist on talking to me about it and would basically not understand but would try hard to understand lol. So I guess that wouldn't be too bad either. I feel like most people hide their eroge from family/friends to avoid akwardness instead of fearing some sort of punishment. The only time I could see somebody being punished if discovered would be if somebody's parents were strict or extreme-religious types. They believe that masturbation is sinful, sex before marriage is sinful, and that looking at porn is also sinful. Ugh, my mom once found some cached porn on the family computer and confronted me about it. I denied it to the end, but she ended up in tears. Looking back on it she's pretty emotionally manipulative. I would feel really bad if I even indirectly made my mom cry for a valid reason, but if it were for something like that, I'd just feel like she was being too dramatic lol. I'm sure you've figured this out already, but denying something like sexual desire can only result in personal frustrations and an attitude of condescension towards others. I'm always prepared for this situation; I keep my desktop spotless at all times and my links to sites in a folder under my favorites called 'H' (appropriately named lol). All my downloads are in a folder I made called 'hidden' and threw in some preinstalled picture-editing program's files; I'm going for a 'hidden in plain sight' strategy instead of putting my stash behind something password protected, just in case somebody ever goes looking for hidden files on my PC and checks for password protection. Autocomplete on my browser is also off, and I clear my recent items list frequently. I've gotten lazy and stopped clearing my browser history though... EDIT: 100th post! NO... because, when i feel like it going to come out a sex-scene, i always make sure that no one at home or everyone sleep already, then only play it, but sometime i do play it when my family member still at house... My pc is at center of my house, so basically, whatever happening around i can hear it. Ex, foot step, their little chit-chat..., so it is easy for me to avoid it. I have a sort of "getting caught" story about others that you reminded me of, but some might berate me for the introduction. I dated my best friend's brother once (hey he manipulated me when I was down! ;_; ) and my best friend knew I played h games & also played them, and I knew he was uneasy about my then-boyfriend using his PC due to recent downloads, so I asked the boyfriend out of curiosity if he'd ever found anything. Usually you don't get this kind of chance to ask that discreetly, it was a unique experience I might say. He DID find things without looking for them - including a porn site that was one he also visited (ahaha) AND a game... Which, to my surprise, he even played (his first)! I think he tried it because he knew I played them. I never let my friend know this XD I would change titles of folders & files so they would sound like "normal" games, but I accidentally left the word "hentai" from some download site in a folder name for quite a while before...I really hoped no one knew what it meant. I got a program once to locate what was taking up the most space on my drives, and my brother used it, and complained about a certain game up at the top...I really hoped he didn't know what it was. We ate, played some basketball, played some Xbox, and to finish it all, we watched freakin p0rn for a while, watching japanese pornstars, and then hentai.
