No problem. The only reason I mentioned that is that if you do get the script taking out by the hacker, it will allow you to find and match up where the translated script goes. The whole scripts that the Japanese company use can be confusing as they jump around during the script, and also jump to scripts further down then what you would think. Like, I have the scripts from Boob Wars, the title MG is gonna release, because I am a tester. If you follow one route you would go something like script 1-4, but if you went another route you would go something like script 1, 2, 6-10. Knowing the J

As long as you are writing down the Japanese script and the English translation that corresponds to it I don't see a problem with you finding and inserting the text into the proper script. It will probably come out to look something like what you will find here: Entrans Once you find the Japanese text, you will then just need to match the English script, and then maybe getting a programmer (unless you are one) to make a patch for the whole process. I look forward to how things go for you.

Keep that in mind for some of these VNs that have multiple disks. You usually have to do the, unmount - remount 2nd disk, deal to get it to install. Just something to keep in mind for future VNs you play.

Well, considering JAST re-released, or is in the process of releasing some titles that have already been translated, there might just be. I would guess it depends more on how popular a title is. Dialogue should progress from enter and mouse click. It might also progress is you use the down arrow key and space(only some VNs do this). Shift and ctrl can sometimes be used to either progress or skip text.

Actually, you said you were using applocal. Japanese Locale and applocal are 2 different things. I can't say what those errors are, but I am downloading the VN now to try and run a setup to see what might be the problem. What operating system are you using? And is it 32bit or 64bit (if you can answer)? This is an old VN so it might have problems on newer OS's. I'll edit in what I did if I can get it to work.

I think that would be the biggest problem with me reading a VN on something other then my desktop or laptop, having to stop if someone approaches me or be mindful of just what scene I might be at around others. Sorry, not gonna happen. My family knows not to come in my room without knocking. That gives me ample time to 'mute' the voices so they can't hear anything when I open the door. And I can concentrate better on the VN when I am alone then constantly looking around me and making sure no one is approaching so I don't have to do a 'quick hide' of what I am playing.
