Requesting the Fan Disc of the VN "Making * Lovers".

As the tag prefix I attached to the thread title indicates, I'm about to drop a major spoiler for the game "Scarlet Nexus". If you read on, do not say I didn't warn you. In the back story of the game Scarlet Nexus, not learned until you're several chapters in, it says that the earth's climate changed and became uninhabitable for human life, so humanity evacuated to the moon. This seems to be a rather weak excuse for why humans were living on the moon in the first place. If humanity could build livable environments on the moon, couldn't the same technology be used to build enclosed, inhabitable environments on the earth? That would spare you the effort of having to travel to the moon in the first place, and while the environment outside of an earth based shelter may have been hostile to human life, I doubt it would have been as immediately fatal as exposure to the vacuum of space would have been, allowing for increased chance of rescue in the event of a failure of the "space" suits used to travel outside of such environments and an easier time making emergency repairs of any breaches in the environmental walls of any towns/villages/cities/etc. while the residents retreated to emergency shelters. For that matter, the residents would likely have a better chance of retreating to an emergency shelter on earth than if walls failed and breathable atmosphere was replaced by vacuum of space out on the moons surface. The story then goes on to explain it took them a thousand years of effort to repair the earth's climate. Several centuries worth of that effort was probably due to the distance they were removed from the earth. They could probably have shaved a significant portion of that time off if they were working from the earth in the first place.

Quoted from the game description above: Either a case of blatant false advertising, or the author of that description has lived the world's most boring life.

That's the biggest increase I've seen in some time. -
I'm curious what people think of the "floating" text box style used in the VN "Amatsutsumi" (the vndb.org screenshot samples show what I'm talking about). Personally, I found it annoying and was glad to find an option that allowed me to return it to the more traditional single textbox style at the bottom of the screen, but then again, I've always been adverse to change (If it's not broken, don't fix it!).

I'm pissed off enough about this I've got to complain somewhere! The game Scarlet Nexus just went on sale on Steam for 70% off and I decided to buy it after playing the demo. The demo is basically the first two chapters of the game and you can import your save from the demo to the full version to continue where you left off. I hadn't quite finished the demo, so I figured I'd do that while the full version downloads. As soon as I hit install on the full version, the demo automatically uninstalled with out warning, leaving me to wait through an 18 gigabyte 40 minute download!

As vndb.org does not list an English version of that title, it is highly unlikely, though not impossible, that Ivan will upload it. Sorry. -
Seconded!

Why is the official release THAT big of a deal? Sure, if the official release was already out and available here, i would likely choose that version over the fan translation, but there's already a fan translated version available on this site and the official version isn't released yet. It's been a years since I read it, so my memory is a little vague on the specifics, but I don't recall there being any major problems with it. -

🙉 La! La! La! I don't hear your logic! I would have nothing to squawk about! Therefore: I call foul! --------------- Side note: assuming you posted nothing between the weekly status update and your acknowledgement of fixing the faulty URL, that weekly status update was your five-hundredth post. -

I'm not sure you've got the correct vndb.org link for "Chinkamo Twins" (url as of when I wrote this: https://vndb.org/v31469). I THINK this is the URL you want: https://vndb.org/v26416. -------------------------------------- I call foul! Last week: Gin'iro Haruka - Mizuha's route 100% translated, Yuzuki's route 30.62% translated This week: Gin'iro Haruka - Mizuha's route 100% translated, Yuzuki's route 9/37 (approx: 24.3%) script files translated That's going backwards! -

I'm not sure what a "weeb" is, though I'm guessing it's something less than flattering, but this title does involve a cosplayer and the H-scene you described. The title has two routes, a "sweet" and a "spicy" route, and the scene you describe takes place late game on the "spicy" route. It's been a long time since I played this one, so I'm not sure, but I think that's it's the last H-scene on that route. vndb.org: Momoiro Closet This website: -

Ugh, one more for the never should have been written pile. Widows, the divorced, never been married, all those are fair candidates for story writing, but once you're married, YOU ARE DONE. If it isn't with your spouse, keep your dam pants on. -

On the part of the forum where you can select a reaction such as "Thanks", "Like", "Confused" or "Haha", can you add one more option? We really need a "WTF!?" option. The icon itself could be a "!?". For some of the titles you've uploaded, there really is no other appropriate response.

Requesting Icha x2 Study Okay, yeah, I admit I'm being impatient with this one since it doesn't actually release until June 17th according to vndb.org. -

The version of "Akatsuki no Goei" (vndb) found on this site appears to contain all three chapters of the series (or two chapters and a fan disc, I'm not sure the technical break down of it) but only the first chapter appears to be fully translated. The "clear list" indicates the existence of 27 total endings, but it seems resonable to conclude that that only some of them are for the first chapter and the rest are split between the second and third chapters. Does anybody know how many of the ending are specifically for the first chapter so I can know when I've read the "entirety" of this VN?

In the VN "Akatsuki no Goei", there are several references to the a "CV". I get from the context what it is in a general sense, some sort of personal historical record that probably contains the the type of information a background check would turn up, but what does the acronym actually stand for? Also adding another point of confusion, the VN has a tendency to break the fourth wall from time to time, so for all I know, it could actually be a reference to something from the VN development process, some sort of high concept character overview from when the VN was in the original planning stages.
