The dominant type of VN is Japanese 18+ eroge, so if they can deal with cartoon porn, they pretty much could accept the genre as a whole. I would probably suggest something that has some mild sexual content or fan-services with a simple decent story suitable for light reading, but has a significant impact on its conclusion and can generate a feeling that it would be pretty awesome if it were to be turned into an anime. Yea, something like G-Senjou no Maou. I could give them Clannad, Rewrite, or Ever17, or even gameplay handheld VN such as 999 and Danganronpa, but that would not break a false stereotype. It would only be like erm.. "acceptable" titles surrounded by a pile of cartoon porn shit. They probably will open up to all-ages, but I think they will still shun 18+ titles. If I have only one shot at this, the best thing is to pick a 18+ title. Anyone who can't accept it by then simply isn't cut out for this medium.

Sounds good. Since I've watched S;G anime before (I did not realize it was originally a VN at that time), I do think it's better to go with I/O first before anyone ruined the mystery for me.

Clephas can be found at Aaeru's site. As for translator, last I heard they don't have a lead translator, and I guess the best they could find right now is an average one. If any experienced translator wished to join, they probably would have done so ages ago I think. IMZ is kinda a cool game so I'm really not sure why the interest is low.

ShiniKiss isn't a moege, I think. I'm not sure what you were -expecting- from Shizuku's route. The chemistry and bantering conversations between the two are nice, fun and quite engaging. I guess people won't enjoy the story much if they don't have interest in Shizuku, seeing that it The awkward Shizuku's ending was handled badly however, and I'll agree with you at least on that. Honoka route and her character is bad in every way possible, though.

They shouldn't have included that. If the writers wanted to drive a point, as some have argued in the game defense, there are better, wiser ways to do it. And I am curious, but what did you do in chapter 5 when you were presented with the choice? Did you lie or did you give her away?

Except they aren't obliged to turn in anything at all. It isn't like they promise to deliver a complete translation AFAIK. Just curse your luck that it was some troll like pun-kun picked it up instead of somebody more... reliable. It isn't, it was just long. A long VN doesn't make it hard, just that it takes a longer time to finish, and some translator didn't realize until it was too late that they don't have the tolerance to endure working on such a project. More like he has gotten bored with it.
