Since the error is probably caused by the patch itself, I think all you've to do is get past that particular part in the un-patched version, save, then copy paste the save into the saves folder of your patched version.

The reason Rose Gun Days doesn't have a badly drawn art was because it wasn't drawn by Ryukishi. Thank God for that.
