i choose steins gate. But because i still have ongoing vn to complete, i'd probably read those instead of the ones i have already completed. finished Haruka and Yuka route in never7. Its not as good as ever17, but its pretty good nevertheless. The pacing suffers in some parts of the game, and in haruka route(especially the second half) the dialogues between haruka and makoto feel rushed in order to compensate for the pacing. Lots of endings left

Everything is the will of steins gate. With that said, i love this vn. The ruler of worlds and the one who unleashes chaos by opening the steins gate, Hououin Kyouma, is a amazing character and certainly most suited for this story as protagonist. also, the connection between chaos head and steins gate.
