First of all, very nice article. Maybe you should link your first two articles for first time readers like me? Imo, takumi is a good representation although it borders a bit on the extreme side. yes, its very cynical indeed. Its not just otaku's who behave like him. I am sure, even among non-otaku's you will find weird people, its all about your principles and experiences. 1) Does this happen in any particular chapter? 2) Have you tried running without applocal, i.e by configuring your "regional and language options" in control panel? 3) Tried reinstalling the game to a different path? if worst comes to worst, you have to play steins gate without switching your comp off(or by hibernating) and by restarting the game for every ending. Which is a lot of trouble, but doable. Which is sad really, because steins gate is such a awesome vn..

Quartett! Hello everyone, this is my second review of vn, and as amateurish as it might be, i hope you enjoy it. Introduction - Quartett! is a short visual novel(2-10 hours according to vndb). What sets it apart from other visual novels is the art. i didn't like his comment on fate zero. He is right about berserker part though, but i'd suggest him to read the light novel for that and other stuff the anime might have missed.

you did not answer my question regarding heroic spirit. I can understand your reasons for becoming a servant in the holy grail war, but why would you become a heroic spirit? and..you haven't answered the reason you call other's half breeds? Why "half breed"? 2/3 is still more or less...impure
(my thoughts regarding the conversation, i'd have liked to use spoilers here) damn..i wish i were gilgamesh..i soo wana do a gilgamesh impression, but i'll stick with saber for now. Also, in case you did not know, heroic spirits do not have a will, they are simply "used", like products, to do the dirty work for the gods(keeping humans alive). Also..this might be selfish of me, but i'd prefer if you used terms like half breed, fool, treasures to appear more like gilgamesh. Its fine if you cannot answer, i shall fulfill my fantasies elsewhere

i've always wanted to ask..why did you choose to become a heroic spirit? Do you desire immortality so much that you will give away your body and soul to save the one's you call half-breeds? Why did you choose to fight in the holy grail war, knowing that you will be nothing but a leashed dog(or perhaps, you did not know this)?
also interested to know why you call human's half breeds, even though you yourself is technically one(a demigod)?

completed juni route in Quartett!, my thoughts so far - 1) Art and music is fantastic, really brings the vn alive. Its like a manga, with event cg's replacing the sprite cg. The menu system's neat and clean look also a plus. 2) I like the voice acting as well(no voice acting for h scenes, but i don't care about that), really brings out the characters. 3) Smooth lighthearted story(juni route), good and likable characters, well written. No excess unnecessary drama, i can connect to the characters as well, emotional scenes are really good. hm..i feel like i just repeated a point 4) A lot of -
