I'll all caught up with the manga now (volume 5). I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say I understand the "circumstances." Geez, the spoiler tags need to work. >_>

So much butt lovin' this season, but that's fine with me because Saraswati is freaking hilarious. Although, it's been focusing more on the comedy than the action, which I hope changes soon. Also, Eu episode previews FTW!

Nah, it's all good since she fell into a now bloodstained flower bed. =P I'm sure that pain was nothing compared to the emotional distraught she's had to put up with since birth. Although I hate the dad, I kind of hate the mom more for not doing anything. She's equally at fault, if not more for being this cruel at watching all of it happen time and time again, then acting coldhearted towards her flesh and blood. Sure, the dad's a total creep, but at least he showed her "affection."

Second episode was even more boring than the first episode. If anyone is watching this anime, you only LOSE by watching the second episode, seriously. -_- But from the looks of the third episode preview, sword-battling/magic is FINALLY going to be a focal point/actually introduced, instead of baking bread. I was just about to drop the anime, but I will give it one more episode to see where things go.

I enjoy happy endings like Saya no Uta's. Those are the best "happy" endings.

Hoshizora no Memoria -Wish upon a shooting star-

@Chinami's route: In the common route I hated her, but these feelings for her diminished just a bit while doing her story. That's mostly due to the funniest scene - their h-scene: You: "Chinami, I'm taking off your pajamas." Chinami: "Bathtime...?" You: "No." LMFAO -
Nah, it's confirmed as a TV anime. I believe Motto followed the original To Love-Ru manga more closely by directly adapting much later manga chapters without new content, while Darkness will feature Yami as the main protagonist based on her character and events in the To Love-Ru Darkness manga. Unlike Motto, Darkness shouldn't be episodic and should be more like the original anime following and developing a plot (however, Lala is a secondary character). At least I hope so, because I dropped Motto To Love-Ru due to its episodic-ness.

Late reply is late, but... There's gonna be a PS3 .hack fighting game (not roleplaying) featuring the protagonist of the new .hack//The Movie called .hack//Versus.

Mine isn't complete either for Asuho's, but I still have a little bit of Chinami's left, as well as Mare and the "true route" (I'm guessing you see more images for her there?). And yeah, I picked all of the "right" choices to get on Asuho's route. -
I'll be watching the first episode shortly. I haven't played this game, but I've played some of the other Shining games. TBH, the Shining Hearts PSP game looked lame, since the main characters run a bakery together... That's vastly different from the other Shining games.

Correct, that is Kirito from Sword Art Online, a light novel that is MUCH MUCH better than Accel World's, imo (even though they're written by the same author). And Sword Art Online luckily gets an anime this coming July! >D He's Silver Crow for about half and half (leaning slightly more towards being his Accel World avatar). When he's not Silver Crow, he's either his obese self or his pig avatar. Most of the battles aren't very long, and the characters spend a lot of time in the real world developing strategies to monopolize the game - which is the entire point. It's not just about

I haven't done Asuho's route, but I want to (I'll save her for third - which means pretty soon). I will probably end up skipping through Aoi's route... Her attitude left a bad taste in my mouth even when she no longer made many appearances. -
Then what the fuck, indeed. I was a complete "gentleman" to Elis, yet when I was so sure I was on her route, the game just ended and nothing happened between the protagonists. If you don't pick specific choices, you won't see her ending. I didn't really care for that visual novel, so I haven't looked into what other requirements there are for additional heroines, just Elis. Actually, I meant at least one route (one story). =P I rarely do every route.

I just started playing today and she's already giving me a headache. And what is up with that thing she does...that...the arm raising. What is that. "Onii-chan Onii-chan Onii-chan, LOOK AT MY PITS!" The only thing I like about her so far is her bgm.

Being a GIGANTIC fan of Circus' Da Capo series, ever since I heard of an eventual Da Capo III, I was ecstastic. However, today some of my hopes have been crushed. According to the official site, there doesn't appear to be any Asakura's or a Shirakawa - however, we do have, for some reason, an albino Yoshino, while the blonde is some random person - who is not a loli - named Ricca Morizono. What. Don't get wrong, I'll play it if gets translated of course, but I'm now less excited for it. Well, there is still one character left named Kiyotaka, but that might be another of your guy friends. A

This will be the first Key anime in which I know what the ending is going to be like going into watching. I would do anything to unlearn this. You never know, Kud COULD get an OVA/DVD and Blu-ray Special based on her route (or at least something devoted to her). With enough popularity from her own manga and VN, it's possible. Alternatively, you could kidnap Miku Hatsune and tell Japan to create a Kud special in return for Miku's release.

Oh? My mistake, then; I had had it in my mind they were unlockable from the start. Thanks for clearing that up.

According to an article on Anime News Network, Little Busters!, the newest visual novel series by Key (developers of Air, Kanon, Clannad and Angel Beats!), will get an anime. Key's Little Busters! Visual Novel Gets TV Anime - News - Anime News Network That. Is. Awesome.

1. It doesn't have a significant amount of comedy (only in the beginning does any exist), which isn't surprising because this game is a life or death tale of "people in a strange world" being forced to kill in order to survive/protect their loved ones. After the protagonist gets sent to the other world, all of the content is dramatic and dark. However, to prevent the game from being completely solemn, downtime between battles is played out through fun and relaxing conversations between your character and teammates. : ) 2. There are multiple routes, all of which are unlockable in the first p

I agree with what you're saying, but what happens when you're faced with a VN where just a single incorrect choice forces you to stray from a heroine's route and into a place that makes it impossible to finish? I had this problem with Canvas 2 before - I was on a heroine's route, but because I said something I wasn't supposed to multiple times, I couldn't see her true ending. I prefer to not waste my time when this happens. If you cannot finish the VN, then there's no accomplishment whatsoever; you just wasted your time (well, not really, because you at least saw most of the VN, probably). But

I played To Heart 2. Although the common route is not completely translated, it's about 80% done (random conversations aren't translated, but enough of the story is to understand what important events are happening), and select heroine routes are 100% (not counting Tama-nee's, where for some reason just the H-scene is not translated). However, I would recommend playing the routes that are translated because I REALLY enjoyed Manaka Komaki's route (*cough* current signature and ava *cough*). If you haven't seen the anime, I would recommend researching the heroines first to see if any catch your

There's actually already a thread for this located here. Kind of pointless to make a thread for favorite non-eroge and one for just eroge (most people mix them up anyways). Maybe merge the threads and rename to make it include all VNs in general.
