The translator said in the beginning of August that the translation will be stalled for a bit longer. I guess he'll just release what he has so far on 9/9 and get the translation done before the year is over with, like he said.

Very doubtful. The next two games combined is a good amount shorter than Kajitsu, and Kajitsu took about a year to translate. Estimated time for translation completion for Meikyuu was ~7 months and Rakuen was ~5 months. Of course, he isn't going to translate right after the game comes out, but I doubt it will take over 2 years.

Yes, you can just install the English patch v1.1. It's the updated patch. That's the only patch you have to download after downloading the game. The admin just hasn't gotten around to updating it yet.

Do you have the latest codec pack installed? CCCP - Combined Community Codec Pack If that doesn't work, try renaming "haru_op.avi" to another name.

That release contains the first 3 chapters. It was the official release by MG and has an official translation with h-scenes mostly uncensored if you care about that stuff. The latter tale will get released later by MG. Though if you want to play the game right now, you should just download "ef a fairy tale of the two". And yep, it's 18+.
