    [spoiler=MGQ Paradox minor spoiler] In Paradox at the start of the game you get to chose a route and permanent party member with it. There are 2 routes, one is Alice route and the other is Ilias route. So you can say for sure that someone else is the bad guy this time [spoiler=MGQ Paradox a bit bigger spoiler but related to the other one] Also the Ilias that joins your party is the same one you fight at the end of MGQ 3 while Alice is and Luka are different people that were born in the world that paradox is set in.

    VNs are always better then the anime as they are more detailed, but since you already watched the anime and this one is all age only thanks to consoles you should probably save the money for the next one. Or check out the gameplay on youtube and if you end up really liking it it may still be worth it.
