You'll definitely cry at the end of both visual novels. The true route of clannad is a little bit hard to unlock so be sure to use a walktrough. Quote

The VN goes much more in-depth regarding the routes. If you still love watching Clannad, might as well play the VN Quote

I mean it depends, some people are more emotional when seeing the whole story animated and some people prefer the deeper visual novel version. But by all means, play the game, it's worth it especially when you're interested in another heroine than nagisa. Quote
