Yes, two animes actually "ef - a tale of memories" shows events from "first tale", while "ef - a tale of melodies" shows events from "later tale". Anime adaptations were very good in itself, with SHAFT studio adding nice touch to it.

It's only personal opinion, but i'd place "ef" in top5 of best games that got translated so far. I found later tale part of story much more enjoyable, but it's mostly because of characters. Quality wise the only difference it "professional" translation instead of random memes from time to time and additional troll ending. Mosaics in H-scenes are much more bearable in this one as well - ef has really stunning graphics, and those huge pixels in lite version kinda ruin it.

You need to replace ogrinal game .exe with cracked one. When you extract the game you downloaded ( before installing it) you have a folder labeled "Crack". Inside it you'll find modified version of game .exe that doesn't need serial key. Just move it to the folder you installed game into, replacing it, and game will start without asking for key.

You're probably trying to install into "Program Files" or other priveledged directory. Either change installation path to for example "C:/Ef" or run the setup as administrator.
