Uhhh no. Go Go Nippon sold 10,000 on steam and keeps rising and there's a healthy number preorders for upcoming titles. Not to mention that most of MG sales come from nukiges. Did I miss something? Oh yeah, Chou is coming, and DvsD, and DCIII, and Cartagra and Kara no Shoujo 2 and... TL;DR = MG isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Also, people just want to fap.

I wouldn't call it a downgrade. It's more like a different style, which doesn't fit the mood of the VN at all. That said I liked episode 1 a lot, so might give this a chance even if it has this colorful artwork.

hard coded fonts, external patches (like voice patches) edited images, re-encoded videos (for karaokes) thsoe are examples though, there's a multitude of reasons why it's so big a patch.
