  1. Yet another thing we agree on hardcore. Seriously, wtf? (This is my avatar on several other forums)
  2. No need to have a waifu of the month, I've only ever had one waifu. Kuu from Wanko to Kurasou.
  3. ............................. I just remembered why I switched to a different game right after downloading Shuffle!.
  4. Technically lolis are lolis because they're pre-pubescent. Pettanko(s), on the other hand...
  5. I would tend to agree with you that the ends justify the means(In this case.) Even if they're only doing it because they're lazy, it does seem like a win-win situation. I suppose in a perfect world the fan-translators could attain the license themselves and get a bigger cut/give a bigger cut to the original creators.
  6. If they really "needed" 1.5 years to finish a quality translation for a 15,000 line game, it should take 10 years for a quality translation of a monster like Clannad(102,000 lines). The sad part is, even though Clannad is officially "unfinished", it's still more finished than most anything I've seen officially released, and the actual translation took 1 year, 1 month, and 7 days -.-. Sorry for being so confrontational, it's just something I feel strongly about >.> Don't even get me started on gods of the translation world like Amaterasu. 12,000 line game in 2 months...insanity. Just goes to show the difference it makes when your translation team actually likes visual novels. edit: Oh, you agree with me. How did I quote you agreeing with me without realizing you agreed with me? I'm an idiot
  7. Does it take 1-2 years for a professional company to translate a medium-length game? What, are they translating 25 lines a day?
  8. Balam Acab - Wander/Wonder
  9. Strand of Oaks - Pope Killdragon [video=youtube;tT-vPSY6vbw]
  10. I prefer straight up futa, personally.
  11. Terrible video, awesome song. Various Production: The World Is Gone
  12. I think the article was aimed at women and any guy who used it as an excuse was just trying to save face. Regardless, it is true that we(humans)'re programmed to want sex and pretty much nothing else. I'm guessing part of the reason you find so much woman-hate on the internet is that a lot of the stuff in that article does apply to the typical internet-dweller, combined with the fact that guys who are regularly getting laid probably don't frequent forums on an hourly or daily basis. One of the points from that article that I would have to unequivocally agree with is that most guys feel like they've somehow lost their manhood just by living in the modern world. Everybody's so hyper-sensitive and everything has to be so politically correct that you can hardly cook yourself dinner these days without offending someone out there. I personally feel as though I was deprived of my manhood by growing up with parents who would punish me every time I reacted to a punishment with anger. Combine that with the resentment I feel towards my parents for circumcising me, and you have a whole mess of emotions that I don't know how to resolve. It seems natural that if someone other than me had similar emotions, that they might find themselves directing them towards females in general, however improper I feel that would be. The crux of the issue for me is that I know that(psychologically) what most women find attractive is social openness. And yet despite knowing that, I feel powerless to overcome my social fears and become more socially open, because the world is such a big place and I think so differently from other people. I'm hoping that as I progress down the path of chemical engineering, I'll be able to find a woman intelligent enough and with open enough a mind that I'd feel safe confiding in her. What's depressing about that line of thought is that my 6-year streak of no sex will doubtless have turned into a 8-year streak of no sex by then. I genuinely wish mankind had never invented agriculture, so that we could just live our short lives plagued by parasites and bloodshed, having as much sex at as early an age as we wanted, our value as a partner predicated by our social status or hunting prowess. I hope I'm not coming off as being whiny.
  13. Coincidentally, I searched on vndb for a game with both "kyonyuu heroine" and "loli heroine". Not a single result _/(@$@)\_
  14. The loli national anthem would be lolicore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRNltZ5X6Eo
  15. New heroines? I wasn't going to wait for the EX version, but now I'm considering it(Of course I have a lot of other awesome games to play in the interim)
  16. Classic example would be the girl on the right here from Kodomo no Jikan. Couldn't find a good picture of her.
  17. Jus' sum dark g'rage. Distance - My Demons http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25MHRahdf2M
  18. Lol, I like to pretend I have good taste but it's always nice to have that affirmed by meeting others with similar taste to me. And I haven't played Little Busters yet, I just thought Kud was cute. P.S. a Vegas wedding is probably cheaper than a lot of the 1/8 scale waifus out there. P.P.S. I already have a 2d waifu. http://www.picamatic.com/show/2012/03/26/07/43/8312215_256x300.jpg
  19. Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antarctica
  20. They clearly hate the fans. Tomoyo was the best heroine, too p.s. I bet anything they'll skip Kud Wafter.
  21. So much anger... Converge - Jane Doe [video=youtube;T0-FCmDcb0Q]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0-FCmDcb0Q
  22. After a quick VNDB search it seems the VNs with the MOST sister sex are going to be Imouto Ijime and Yin-Yang X-Change(maybe). As others have said, Shera, my witch and Gibo(Although I wouldn't necessarily recommend Gibo based on its own merits) also have what you mentioned. disclaimer: I don't think any excellent sister based nukige have been translated. Same goes for good mother-based nukige -.-; If you don't mind that the game is mostly story and not much sister-sex, I could not recommend Sharin no Kuni highly enough.
  23. I have a tendency to overrate games I've just played. Regardless, it's amazing. It's technically a drama, but there are several amazing twists.
