Yup, this is was the next game I was going to play after HomeMate, so here you go folks. There is also an overall story the player can go through to get a sense of the background. The player must start in story mode. There is a story mode for each of the 5 female character which the player must go through. In the storymode the player is limited to only clicking to get to the next scenes, similar to the gameplay of interactive fiction games. After the player gets through a storymode of one of the characters, the sex options for that character will be playable and the player will be able to choose his location and the characters dressing options. Unlike previous Illusion games, this game has a point system for the player to purchase clothes. The clothes the player can purchase is determined by points and by his history with the character. Points are attained through sex and is determined by a multiplier and the sex number of different positions the player used. Each sex position has a different point value. User Interface The user interface is similar to the one of Rapelay where the player can select multiple sex options from a menu by right clicking and the player can also remove the clothing of a female character in the same manner. But unlike Rapelay, during foreplay this game requires players to drag their desired options into boxes which determines how the female character can be positioned. The game also allows the player to lock specific sexual positions and camera style by left clicking on their respective menus. Kazuki is the male protagonist. He has recently returned to the place of his birth, Kimikage Island, and transferred into Himeyuri Academy. His mother died in a major island-wide disaster when he was little, but he doesn't have memories from that far back. She is a very bright and energetic girl, and calls Kazuki "Oniichan" (cute form of "older brother"). She has a super crush on Kazuki, and gets very "watchful" when any girls are around Kazuki. Natsume Tachibana Natsume is a girl with long blue hair. She is very aggressive and kicks the player and other characters during the storyline. She is Kazuki's sempai (senior). She often does things her own way even though it defies common sense. She doesn't like to lose, and often acts before thinking. She is shrouded in mystery. Mikoto Serikawa Mikoto is a girl with short purple hair and green eyes. She is Kazuki's classmate. One night when both of their fathers were drunk, she became betrothed to Kazuki. Usually she has a closed-off attitude, not showing emotion. She often converses by talking to her dog puppet. She is also a ventriloquist who uses a yellow dog puppet. Fumi Katsuki Fumi is a girl with short teal hair, glasses and large breasts. She is passive towards the player and the other characters. She is Kazuki's cousin and is like an older sister to him. She is the school president of Himeyuri Academy, and she is very good with academics and sports. While she is strict with herself and everyone else, she is extremely lenient and nice to Kazuki, treating him like a little kid. She is the quiet type, not letting her feelings show on the surface, and has a smile on her face regardless of the circumstances. Finally mustered the courage to finish the game. Never in my history as VN reader I hated so much a character as I hate Mia, god, Chinami (Hoshimemo) was annoying but Mia takes the word to a whole new level, oh I don't want to fight, I'm scared, He's my onichan!!! Ahhh Illusion, yes, we all know Illusion when back in 2006 their game "Rapelay" caused a shitstorm of rage among USA feminist bitches when the game showed up in Amazon. Well, first of all, I was not fond of Illusion games just because of the art they usually use with almost close to real japanese women (Sexy Beach, Rapelay, Real Kanojo etc.) but they made some pretty good anime-styled games and since I had nothing better to do, I decided to try it and I must say this particular game is pretty fun in it's own way. If you're looking for story, just stop reading this, Illusion's games almost has none of it. Yūnagi Noa - Grab all tsunderes in anime and mix the up and you have Noa, she's also the "loli" type.....sort of...., uses the gothic-lolita clothes. Yūnagi Yakumo - The yandere character according to the description, I don't see any Yandere on her, I made the MC fuck her like a mad, ignored her for a few days, pissed her off by fingering her pussy to max horniess and leaving the map and still no knife down the MC throat so I guess it's an error on Illusion's side. Quiet and calm, also rather airheaded. She is the youngest sister with the largest breasts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ‡†~~Customization~~†‡ Illusion apparently had found their "middle spot" on this game, or they make too much customization (Artificial Girl 3, Artificial Academy) or no customization at all (Schoolmate 2), I like this one better, no too many things on the screen and they are pretty nice. Clothing: Panties, bras, shirts, pants, skirts, you name it. Some pretty good selections. Hair: There are 16 different hair styles to experiment with, IMO they should have used an RGB color slider instead of only the 3 color options on hair. Body 3 skin tones and 2 tan lines, 7 eye colors, and a pretty big selection for nipples with 10 texture swaps and a slider to adjust the size......yummy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ‡†~~Gameplay~~†‡ Dialog: The translator did a hell of a job here, the dialogs are from plain boring to extremelly hillarious, specially Nao's tsundere attitude and masochist Yakumo (She's not "M" per se, you have the option to turn her into one later in the game.) Story: It's not why this game shines for but pretty funny actually. You come to the girls villa, they all love you, you fuck them......in many and variated ways (¬,¬). The first part of the game takes the word "unrealistic" to a whole new level. I'm going to quote some user opinion on that part because I couldn't said that better. Maps: There are five locations you can lurk...House, Lake, Farm, Church and Waterfall. There are little critters too, rabbits, cats, dogs and farm animals you can interact with. Grinding: Yes, there are several items at your disposal but you will have to break a sweat for them. The clothing items that need to be unlocked are unlocked by finding various materials all around the maps, and they can be pretty much anywhere, some come from cupboards, some come from a flower in the corner, some come from picking up animals and such. And the clothing items isn't the end of it, there are other items you have to farm out too which will make the game easier. This game is very old and it was simply not designed for Win7. You can try the following with a program called "Windows Virtual PC XP Mode" but I dunno how to tweak it to make it work.

MangaGamer is a subsidiary originated from japanese companies Circus, Tarte, Overdrive and Nexton (including the BASESON and LIQUID sub-labels), and has a partnership with Minori, so they translate their almost exclusively their games with a few expections like Shuffe (Company Navel). First of all, they have to honor their deal with the parent companies, giving priority to their games. The can't just grab any VN and translate it, first they have to contact the company and ask them if they are interested in releasing their game on the west. After the Rapelay incident back in 2006, many japanese companies are scared of the same thing happening again so they just focus on releasing their games on japan and refusing any chances of a deal, started to send C&D (Cease and desist) notices to fan translators (Eiyuu Senki and Yosuga no Sora), some even blocked non japanese IPs (Alicesoft). And also, you can't really blame MG, with piracy and stuff they have it tought, take for example Koihime Musou (Released voiceless and ony after 2000 sales they would add the voices, this number was archieved almost a year after the game was released), IIRC Ivan told us on the shoutbox that the game was downloaded +100.000 times from here. Take that into accout plus other sites like Hongfire and even PirateBay. They have to release nukiges because they are easy to translate and quick buck games. Honestly, to me the only reason they are still on the game is because their parent companies are backing MG up, if not they would go bankrupt right away.

I agree with OMA, I took a break after Lily's because the game is just too repetitive. I'm preparing myself mentally to play Mia's route, the charater I hate the most. God, this is the same feeling I had when I played Chinami's route in Hoshimemo.....
