    Shuffle!

I can confirm that this version of Shuffle! has some minor grammatical mistakes, but not to the point where it's unreadable or unenjoyable.
  2. you DON'T want characters that don't suck?
  3. Finished Grisaia no Kajitsu as well, glad I saved Amane's route for last.

    Shuffle!

I'm pretty sure this is the older version, don't know where you can get the new one.
  5. People who buy EVGA cards. The Rise of the Triad remake is free right now if you bought an EVGA card on or after July 19th. On the Facebook page, people were saying "LUL DIS GAEM SUX NO THX" are you fucking kidding me? ROTT was only in development for a year and a half before it was released. It was built on an impossibly small budget. It's goddamn $15. The developers are actively working on improving the game in terms of adding a weapon, fixing up a development kit, and fixing performance issues. When it was revealed at QuakeCon 2013, it had functioning multiplayer and a gameplay trailer (not one of those bullshit cinematic ones every dumbshit modern gamer wets themselves over) after SIX MONTHS of development. A ragtag team of developers from all over the world without a physical office building can deliver more in six months than a triple-A developer can deliver in 3 years. But put that all aside - developers that can do something like that deserve respect, but only if they can push out a good game. And I'll be damned if they didn't. The vast majority of people saying this game is "bad" are generally nitpicking at elements they don't like. They completely gloss over the fact that this isn't just a reskinned old game like Serious Sam HD, it's an actual modernization of oldschool shooters. The developers know what made a good shooter back then, and they've translated it to a modern engine. Sure, the optimization could be better, but again, they're actively working on their game. You're going to fucking complain about a free giveaway of a stupidly underpriced game that has developers who actually liked making their game and enjoy it who aren't paid nearly enough, and on top of that, say it sucks? Fuck that. Unrelated (EDIT): I really suck shit at time management. I only have around 4 classes this semester, and I'm failing two of them right now. They're both required and have the same credit weight, but one is actually relevant to my major so I'm thinking of dropping the other one.
  6. It wasn't Current Code, it was just Actress Again. I remember that much.
  7. When I was in Singapore over the summer, my brother found an arcade with an Actress Again cabinet. Played quite a bit, I had no idea what I was doing (I don't play fighting games a whole lot), so I got my shit wrecked. This was also right before we came back to the US, so we weren't exactly able to go back. http://i.imgur.com/m2oVKH1.jpg also, I've heard most communities related to Melty Blood instantly ban you for any mention of piracy. makes sense, even though the PC version of Actress Again is hard as balls to find an actual copy of.
  8. I'm too lazy. I'm also still working on Grisaia because I only read one at a time.
  9. Thoughts on Refrain? I'm going in blind, I never read Little Busters! so I dunno how it compares.
  10. the next episode preview was amazing
  11. the title refers to what every day should be for me, but is not.
  12. Uchouten Kazoku is fucking amazing, full stop. Hands down, best of the Summer 2013 anime season. Perfect blend of comedy and drama, and the music is good too. It's about a family of tanuki. Can't go wrong with that.
  13. Darker than Black, season 1 only.
  14. drills/10 that's like a 9.7
  15. Native English speaker - parents tried to get me to learn Mandarin early on, took lessons on and off for the better part of my life but I'm still not fluent in it at all. My middle/high school required at least 4 years of one Asian language out of three, so I didn't have a language class in senior year.
  16. Ayumi Fanservice, 10/10. Fuckin' loved this part of the arc.

    G-senjou no Maou

Read it anyway, don't be a bitch.
  18. episodes 14-16 are a fucking trainwreck, pretty sure I don't need a spoiler tag for that
  19. Eternal Heart, for one.
  20. x/10 it hurts my eyes
  21. People will never hear the end of me talking about why Gundam SEED sucks so much ass, so I might as well throw down some reasoning here that may or may not make a whole lot of sense. We got Zeta Gundam, right? Main character's Kamille Bidan, whiny bitch, but actually has the privilege of character development. Now, one major plot point throughout the original Gundam series is Newtypes, the next stage of human evolution. Enhanced spacial perception, telepathic shits going on, etc. Naturally, there are going to be characters who try to weaponize this and/or create these Newtypes artificially for that purpose. Kamille is a natural Newtype (slightly important, but not really for this rambling), and meets Four Murasame sometime down the road. Four is one of these genetically engineered human weapons. But Kamille sees her as a human first and foremost, and because of that he starts to develop this idea that you shouldn't fuck around with people's lives for your own profit. That brings us to the "big bad" or the series, Paptimus Scrirocco, who only sees people as his pawns. By the end of the series, Kamille gets the man-pants on and says, "this guy is the scum of the earth and doesn't deserve to live." MEANWHILE IN GUNDAM SEED, you've got Coordinators as a plot point. These are people genetically engineered from birth to be better than "Naturals" in every single way possible...so obviously you need a war between the two. The main character is Kira Yamato, a Coordinator who fights on the side of the Naturals because he grew up around them and blah blah blah fell into the cockpit. He's even more of a whiny bitch than Kamille, -10 points already. Later on you find out he's the "Ultimate Coordinator" and is actually better than every pilot in the entire series by default. He pretty much single-handedly stops every conflict in both SEED series and apparently he's always right about everything. So wait, Zeta Gundam tells us that humans aren't tools and that genetic engineering is a bad thing (implied). But Gundam SEED tells us that the hero is genetically engineered and is apparently the only person in the entire series capable of not being useless...and the other characters are completely useless so they absolutely need Kira to do anything. What the fuck?
