You need to apply the bugfix patch located here. NOTE - you have to install the bugfix before you install the english patch. You should reinstall the game just in case. Just follow the steps killerinsidee made in the first post.

Weird.... if you already have the system locale set to Japanese that means we're going to have to try some other things. Have you tried running the .exe file as an administrator? Just right click - compatibility - run as an administrator. If that doesn't work, try running in compatibility mode for windows xp. Right click - compatibility - run this program windows xp If those two options didn't work, i would suggest reinstalling and installing it to C:\Aoishiro.

I used the same guide and it worked fine for me. Did you finish Aoi's route all the way through? You didn't close it when you got to the credits or anything did you?

I don't even want to waste my time responding to half the bullshit she wrote. I can't speak much for Otome VNs since I haven't played many yet. I'm just wondering...what the fuck is she playing? Outside of Nukiges, most of the shit she ranted about aren't even themes in Eroge games. There's a certain niche that enjoys that kind of stuff and i'm sure there are VNs out there that fill her criteria... just looks like a stupid rant on a needless subject.

I haven't used TA for any VNs yet but for the most part what you see right now is what you'll probably get with most other VNs. It probably works a bit better with simple love stories. VNS with a complicated story as well as VNs with a lot of important focus on the supernatural will probably be harder to decipher. This is just what i'm assuming, maybe someone who has used TA can answer the question.

Downloaded it. Might actually try it out if its at least readable with TA.

Are you trying to play the VN untranslated? I just sent off my beta report, the route should be finished and released VERY soon. I would hold off to finish the VN until it is fully translated. The true route isn't translated.

Should of located the .exe file before deleting and reinstalling. If the problem still persists, just locate where your installation folder is at and find the .exe file and run the .exe file as an admin. Like I said, its a bit of a long shot but it might work.

A June release date is pretty much impossible now, or else they would have announced it already. My guess is July-August.

The notion that Eternal Heart is all sex is pretty much false. I understand why they aren't going to translate it though... even though it isn't all sex, it's still a fandisc. I'd rather them try to focus on another VN, like Dracu Riot, instead of taking another year to translate an add-on story.
