No, Aoishiro's story is relatively straightforward. It does have a very nice atmosphere, though.

After several minutes of blankly staring, I finally chose Kuchiki Touko from Kara no Shoujo. Throughout the story, she gives off an impression of fragility, as though she could just wither away at any moment, but lives life with a carefree, almost whimsical, manner. She is alone, but has no problem with that; she is content to simply exist, but still wishes to know who or what she truly is. Hmmm....actually, I would very much like to be her....

Now....it makes so much more sense. Thanks, Harly. I only got, like, an eighth of that after reading the VN. Anyway, the last VN I played was Duel Savior. It had some nice gameplay, and the story got pretty interesting in some of the later routes (especially Lily's and Mia's). It wasn't particularly impacting, but it was good for a week of entertainment.

Yeah, the happy end for Swan Song was pretty much bullshit, especially compared to the original ending. I personally felt the end of Sekien no Inganock was a little rushed, but its other qualities more than made up for any lack of coherence.
