I was hoping the anime would get a translation project started, but it didn't happen.

I haven't seen it yet. When I heard there was a Code Geass OVA, I was pretty excited, but then I read the description and lost all hope for it being good. I'm still going to watch it, but I have very low expectations. This is the first time I've ever heard of Kuroshitsuji. Is there a reason they would have similar OVAs (e.g. same animation company/same creator/etc.)?

She wasn't even that good of a character; her story was boring. I actually thought that the girl who pretends to get along with guys at the beginning but actually hates them and turns into a tsundere (Inui Sana) had the most interesting story. If they wanted to use someone other than the main heroine, she would have been a much better choice.

Ms. Pac-Man = "beauty"? ...Round yellow girls aren't exactly my type. There are two of them - The Wonderland ova with characters from the show and the 4-episode spin-off "Akito the Exiled" with different characters. It is a light novel series. I'm going to watch the Code Geass OVAs, Sword Art Online, and the Seitokai Yakuindomo OVA. I'll probably watch the first 1-2 episodes of anything that looks interesting, and if it's good, I'll keep watching it. That's what I did for this season.

There is a Deardrops/Kira Kira fan disc. It's called d2b VS DEARDROPS -Cross the Future-. Currently Japanese only. I guess it's kind of an epilogue for the Riho/Deardrops and Kirari/Kira Kira. It seems like maybe they only wanted to do Riho and Kanade routes, but people expect a route for every girl in every game, so they had to make one for each character. Riho's and Kanade's routes were really good. Yayoi's was pretty good too, just short. Rimu's wasn't very good, in my opinion. Rimu wasn't really the kind of character that falls in love; she was always being compared to an an

I've really been liking this show so far. I'll definitely keep watching it, and I'll probably read the manga too. I think I'll wait till after the show has ended, when I'm left wanting more. Commie is really fast, but their subs aren't as good. I usually watch the Commie version when I can't wait.

When the anime started, it seemed like they were going the main heroine route, but then they went off into all the other routes, so I was expecting them to come back to the main heroine at the end but they didn't. I was very disappointed.

I agree that it will be good as a slice of life show with a few mysteries, rather than a mystery-horror like Another or any suspense-thriller type of show. The show is like the main character — laid-back.

So, here's something the translator of the light novels said regarding the plot: "If you’re expecting a mystery with a grand-conspiracy, then you would be mightily disappointed. This is nothing more than an enjoyable light-hearted mystery thingy with the characters as its centre." I wasn't really expecting a big conspiracy or anything since this is half mystery and half school life, and like he said, "light-hearted", but if anyone was expecting something more, you're going to be disappointed. Kids these days have no respect for their elders.

Why didn't she just tell them to die?

I was just joking anyway; I don't expect everyone to be a speed-reader.

A) Get a tranq gun B) See A C) Just do it next time you see him D) He'll definitely thank you for this. Probably. Maybe. Okay, he'll probably be mad. ---- It seems like the real problem is reading the subtitles. [old man voice]That's the problem with kids these days. They don't read enough. In my day, if you had one book to read you were lucky. You would sit in the corner and read that book again and again, until your eyes dried out. Then you'd read it again. Kids these days with their video games and their computers - they don't understand the value of a good book. Blah, blah, blah,

You should have just combined them. Copy + Paste

If it was an anime, that would definitely happen. By the way, you double-posted.

Just strap him to a chair with his eyes held open in front of a tv playing anime continuously for a few days.

It's the same with English dubs a lot of the time too.

Just like how movies with good actors but bad plots can still be good, anime with good seiyuus and animation, but not a very interesting plot can still be good. But hopefully the plot will get more interesting as the show goes on.

After Story was sooooooo sad. It was probably the saddest thing I've ever seen. But why would it make you not play the VN? It made me want to play it more, because it was such a good story (and because I knew how it would end).
-
I'm hoping it will get more interesting, but the show will probably be something like one or two small mysteries plus a clue to the bigger mystery to advance the plot each episode after it's introduced. For some reason I'm not very optimistic about this show.
-
It is about solving mysteries, and they do get bigger (at least in the light novels). The title of the show is related to a bigger mystery that will be introduced later.
-
I'm still going to watch this show, but I'll probably be disappointed at each episode. Especially whenever they do that stupid hair thing. But it's still better than that fat thing in accel world.

You see what I'm saying? It doesn't really fit into that category, but I guess that's what it's classified as. Now that I think about it, the main character was 14, wasn't he? Another was a pretty good horror anime, and so was Shiki. Those are the only two I've seen, but if you're looking for some good horror anime, I'd recommend them both.

Well I can't argue with fact. Also I just read your disclaimer. It was quite amusing. And there's so much in the way they speak that doesn't translate to other languages. Things like which pronouns they use, how they refer to each other, and how formally they speak make a big difference.

I can't imagine that being anything but bad.
