I also watched the anime, and while it was pretty good, I thought the ending was a bit lacking. He didn't choose any of the girls. I guess he kind of chose one, but not really; they never even said they liked each other.

I like the pace too. This show is slow and laid-back, just like Oreki. If anyone is looking for action, they're watching the wrong show. Oreki always keeps his cool
  3. For my user name (D.N.): Digi-Mermaid Real name (D.J.): Digi-Imouto I'm a girl either way
  4. I've seen three really good shows from Australian TV (but I'll take your word that the rest suck). They were all Chris Lilley: Summer Heights High, Angry Boys, We Can Be Heroes. They were great; Chris Lilley is hilarious.

I'm starting to like the way they animate the scenes where Oreki explains how he figured out the solution. They're all animated differently so it adds some variety to the show. Also, I noticed they changed all the lines concerning Sekitani Jun from 33 years ago to 45 years ago and I was wondering why, but then I realized the book was set 12 years ago (2000) and they changed the setting for the current day parts, but not when the incident happened (SLIGHT SPOILER because the time period is related to the case). The show is starting to get better as they're moving into the main plot.
  6. I read the same kinds of books. The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan is my favorite. I decided to try reading some of those books, so I found a link for Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. PDF - mediafire ePub - mediafire
  7. Someone started working on Real Imouto ga Iru again. (It was stalled for a long time.)
  8. I can understand that. I'll try to keep this in mind when I watch Accel World to keep myself from disliking the protagonist. Also, it's not his personality that I hate, or the fact that he's fat or short; it's that he looks so dumb because the fatness and shortness are taken to unrealistic extremes. If he didn't look like a ball, I would have no problem with him.
  9. No you don't. It's terrible. I have sleeping problems and waking problems. It's hard to fall asleep and then once I do, I can't get up.
  10. Recently it's like they're trying to replace her with Sarasvati. Sera is in it less and less and Saras is in it more and more. They're both vampire-ninjas and have similar names. It's a conspiracy.
  11. It is half the show, though. Her standard outfit shows tons of cleavage, and most of the other clothes she wears do too. Also, I never liked her; she just abuses Ayumu. And she's not even a tsundere. There is absolutely no dere.
  12. He just looks so dumb that I get distracted from what's going on by his dumbness.
  13. Except a wimpy kid is a real thing. A 2-foot-tall spherical kid does not exist. He just looks so dumb, that it doesn't matter what he's like, since I can't stand to look at him. And he's a coward too; he's just as bad as those other characters on top of looking dumb. Also, it's "empathizing" not "emphasizing" - there is a big difference (not trying to be mean, just correcting you for future reference)
  14. That usually happens if you paste the save file before you start the game for the first time after reinstall, right? But I started it once to let it make the save files the first time before replacing it with my save file. Did I do something wrong? I thought it just saved the scene/cg information in a different place.
  15. I kept my Da Capo and Da Capo II save files, and then when I re-installed later and copied the save file, the CG's, scenes, etc. were all gone, but the actual saves were still there. Apparently it stores that stuff somewhere else. It was somewhat disappointing.
  16. I don't know about the manga, but I didn't really like the anime that much. Suginami was the best part of the anime. I liked the game though, because I liked pretty much every route more than Nemu's, which the anime is based on.
  17. If you have complete save data for each and every da capo game ever made for the PC, you can unlock the Suginami route in Da Capo IV. By the way there's like 50 of them (Da Capo games). (This is a joke. Wasn't sure if I needed to write this, but I'll be safe and do it anyways.)
  18. Well, it's not like it makes a difference whether he's always the same guy or not. He's a funny character, so I have nothing against him being in all the games.
  19. But he's not the same... He always looks a little different; I'm pretty sure they're just supposed to be relatives. I thought there was something in Da Capo II that made that clear, but I can't remember. Also, the Nemu (D.C. I)/Yume (D.C. II) look-alike (Katsuragi Himeno) is a childhood friend with a brother-sister-like relationship with the protagonist; this might be a similar story to Nemu's or Yume's. There is also some sort of alternate-universe or something in which Himeno is the protagonist's little sister. The female Yoshino is again the protagonist's cousin (like Sakura in D.C. I)
  20. Oops. That's just the first day, then decrease by 2 hrs each day after, until your sleep is regular.
  21. I meant it as a one-time thing, if you really need to fall asleep. Sleeping pills can be pretty bad, like you said. You can become dependent on them to fall asleep and some side effects are pretty bad. There have been cases where people who take sleeping pills regularly have gotten in their cars and driven while still asleep, which is obviously dangerous. It's better to take a melatonin pill because it's a natural thing that your body produces to fall asleep, but if you take it regularly, your body will become dependent on it. Benadryl is actually pretty good to take for sleeping because it
  22. If you really need to fall asleep, take a sleeping pill, or some benadryl will do the trick too. Here's a method I use to change my sleeping hours (what time I wake up & go to sleep) that works very well for me: 1. To start, set an alarm for 5-15 minutes before you want to get up, and make sure it's loud enough and annoying enough that you will wake up. Put it somewhere that is not next to your bed so you'll have to get out of bed to turn it off. 2. As soon as you get up, eat/drink something with sugar in it to wake you up. A piece of fruit is a good choice. Eat some breakfast as we

I like their interactions as well, especially in ep 2, when Oreki hears them talking about a mystery and starts to walk away, and Chitanda grabs his arm without even turning around. I can't say I like the delusions, but I'm probably biased because I've been reading the novel. I tend to want things to follow the source material as closely as possible, even though I do realize it might be better to change things or add stuff. (This reminds me of the episode of Zetsubou Sensei where there's the dilemna of "You didn't follow the source" vs "You didn't make it better" or something.)

The show's definitely coming along, but I think the pace will stay the same for the rest of the episodes. Also, I don't know if that was really a cliffhanger... I didn't think the OP and ED were that great. Of course, they weren't bad or anything, but, in my opinion, they weren't anything special. In the first episode there was that weird hair thing and in this one there was that scene where Chitanda is a maid and Oreki is ordering the "Rose-colored" course or the "Gray-colored" course. Both of those scenes were not in the novel. It's making it look like Oreki is delusional. Imagining
