Heya,

Welcome to the forum!

Well, I guess an introduction is in order.

I am Kanagawa and I am 28 years old (I know~~~ I'm old)

Currently living in Korea and working as an intern and a night tutor (It ain't easy~~~ to be~~~ me~~~~~)

I used to play alot of visual novels before I met my gf (now ex; it felt like I was in a nukige)

But I am back playing every visual novels/eroges I can XD (though I can't read Japanese T_T)

I like to watch anime and tokusatsu and play games. (I play more MTG and anything else, though)

My favourite visual novels are Eiyuu Senki, Sengoku Rance, Clannad, Little Busters and the Hanabira Series (I SO LOVE THAT SERIES.)

I really REALLY dislike visual novels that are mainly so focused on sex and sorta "aggressive" (Tsuki: Possession, one of my first eroges... T_T) But just because I dislike them doesn't mean I won't play them XD.

 

I am VERY patiently waiting for Karamaruka Circle (Someone please translate that T_T) and Hanasaki Work Spring (I so went gaga over the art and I heard that the english translation for the prologue is apparently almost done XD)

Hi, I'm Ark, or if that's to pretentious, John. The H is silent. 20 years old and working my way to become a wizard, I spend most of my time being pretty basic. As a man of routine I try to follow a strict schedule of procrastination and masturbation. I know almost nothing about VNs, I simply consume as any good leech would. I joined this site mainly for technical support, but the shoutbox was pretty amusing so I stuck around. My main hobbies include reading anything, and table top role playing games (GURPS, ANIMA, D&D, and the One Piece system). My favorite food is blue crab, I enjoy long hunts on the beach, and the voices tell me I'm a very good listener.

1. you may call me by 1 of my favorite characters in gaming,anime & manga Cloud,I'm 28 years old in December I'll be 29,i live in the U.S and before you ask me where in the U.S i currently and i still live in Jacksonville,Florida and as of right now I'm unemployed

I am active on EG's forum for some time so most of the regulars already know me around here but nevermind, might as well introduce myself now, better late then never I guess. I don't have a habit of creating accounts on the forums around the net so often so I might as well say something about myself xD ...

 

Hello everyone!! Now, how should I introduce myself, me thinks ... I guess I should say that I am yet another Japanese Anime/Visual Novel/Manga fan (it seems the world can never get enough of those) ... I come from a little small Eastern European country located on the Balkan peninsula called Serbia (yeah, need to put it like this because we are so insignificant nobody from Asia or both Americas would ever know this god-forsaken hole of a place on Earth's globe xD) ... The first time I saw ErogeDownload was back in 2010 I think and I learned of ErogeGames existence only later on (dunno why I never saw ErogeGames forum at that time xD) ... I can only congratulate Ivan for keeping this place up for so long and not letting a single gleam of it fade since day one Definitively one of a longer VN piracy sites that managed to survive all the tides of the digital sea.

 

I have been following Visual Novels as a medium since at least 2010 (yes, the year when I discovered ErogeDownload as well xD) when I played my first VN which was Bible Black and that's what initially got me interested in the medium ... I am also a casual anime fan and I also read manga from time to time but I think that visual novels are my favourite way of entertainment from Japan right now, I find them quite addictive and I always feel the need to finish them off once I start them, even nukige stuff, I just like the concept of them and everything, I don't consider them real games but as "novels" though with an interesting way of presentation Don't get me wrong, I like anime too, but it seems to me that I like visual novels more because they somehow always feel like they have more depth to them ... I could elaborate on that thought if somebody wants to talk on the subject xD ...

 

As for the VNs I have read, here is the list: https://vndb.org/u118122/list ... It's quite modest so far (almost 40 VNs at the point of time I am writing this), I agree, for somebody who knows about VNs for quite some time, I didn't get the time to read a lot of them and time between 2011 and 2015 was spent on other hobbies mostly until I returned to this one ... I switch from anime to VNs, from VNs to manga and from manga to anime so I never really get to have a huge backlog of any of these mediums xD ... And to top it all, I am quite slow, especially at reading VNs (that have a decent plot) and I tend to spend some time on them ... and some of these VNs are so good that I read them at least twice or more times (Bible Black several times, Swan Song twice, planning to read Dies irae at least once more xD) ... The only VNs I went through three times was Bible Black because it was a rather interesting hentai nukige title that I liked back in the day and even now I like it very much ... As for other VNs, I still didn't play enough of them but I can safely say that my current favourite VN is "Dies irae" (spent more than God knows how many hours on this one, a rather very long VN which I started in 2017 and I consider it the best VN that I have read so far) ... I know there are many other VNs that are probably going to be even better than these I mentioned, I know about all mainstream VNs that are considered a must-read like Muv-Luv, Kara no Shoujo, Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, Ever17 and so on, I know, I have been following VNs for quite some time now and I intend to go through all translated VNs xD ... I know it's going to take a while but I enjoy the medium quite a lot and I even want to "learn" Japanese (however much I can grasp of it, it's a rather unique language in its nature), I started only recently, Genki and some other beginner friendly courses, but its probably going to take me at least 2 to 3 years before I get even the basics and kanji and what-not xD ... I just hope that I will be able to read basic nukige stuff at least someday xD ...

 

As for the VN I am currently reading, it's "Libra of the Vampire Princess", a good VN with not-so-good translation but overall a fun VN nonetheless, not my favourite genre but I find it pretty fun ...
