The game is definitely good - entertaining, the overall story is also good as well, lots of fun characters, fun little thingies here and there, good smooth controls, and and and ... strategic - well, at least on higher difficulty you need to properly select party members/ equip + use them well. I played the version in the second download - in that one translation is the official Playstation translation for the non-h parts (some parts good, some parts not good) and fantranslated for the h-scenes (good translation) - if i understood correctly. In that version wherever the Playstation had a proper non-h replacement character-mission, you get that Playstation character-mission, AND the h-version character-mission, too. Often then you need to do BOTH missions, because only one of them will trigger the next one, or trigger the first mission for a different character. In that aspect, I guess both the official adult version, but also the Playstation version are better - no need to do things twice. Overall, normal difficulty has this option to make remaining nations stronger by doing things "out of order" - eg. conquer India first: get choice to accept bonus item AND other nations get stronger; then Mongolia: get choice to accept bonus item AND other nations get stronger again; only then China. But if you set the base difficulty to highest at the choice in the game's beginning, it actually does get difficult enough already. Still playable, but so that there is practically just one "route" left - like, no early attacking conquering Persia, no chance to beat Russia without Tutanchamun in the party, and so on. And some of the difficulty-by-choice were then no longer really possible - I don't think it is feasible, or at least not while still being fun, to at highest base difficulty conquer India first, for example. So maybe highest base difficulty is more suitable for a replay. to use the wiki, you better block that photobucket annoy-picture. Difficulty Bonus Items - Eiyuu*Senki Wiki ----------------- The second version for download nowadays is the updated version (1.7-final), so all h-scenes are translated, and translated well. The version you tried probably was fantranslation patch version 1.3.3 . -

I think the listing for this game should be renamed to "Spirit of Knights" see attachment. edit: huh? on preview the attachment was visible. a screenshot of how the game itself, in window-title, and the savegames are named "Spirit of Knights". --------------------- "a good one at that" - uh, ähm, really? I could not stand the idiot-level "translation"/ original writing after some 15 minutes anymore, so I did not even make it to battling anyone.

I can see the captchas, even though ublock is activated, so it is not that ... (browser is Vivaldi, v1.12 stable 32bit - you can always try it : Vivaldi Browser | Fast & Flexible Web Browser ) Clicking the captcha's "help" button sends me to Solve Media Info Looking at the texts at the bottom there, seems they do not provide a captcha service "for free", but in exchange to fetching userdata/ tracking. So maybe you need to pause whatever anti-tracking extension is at work, resp. whitelist solvemedia.com. Check not just in browser, but also in your antivirus suite's "internet safety" options. Switch it completely off for a moment, just to see if it makes a difference. good luck with it. -
rereading my previous post I want to avoid misunderstanding: I do agree Eiyuu*Senki is a very good game, and so "addictive". The story is good - at least much better than I expected, many characters are fun, entertaining gameplay, cute battle-charas and animations and comments/ battle-cries (to the day I can not read or hear the word Onigiri without "hearing" it shouted out by Lancelot. ) Raising difficulty mode does not disturb the story, the interface/ controls are good (I was at maybe 40, 50% of game when I finally discovered the game supports drag and drop - I felt so idiot! ), noticeably a lot of care went into innumerable small details. and, and, and. This game is really worth its money. I ponder getting myself a Playstation next year (a 4, and my first ps ever), and I hope I can then get a legit version of the game for that. ----------------- lmao I had my protagonist named Okocha (as in football hero J.J.Okocha - youtube - also, as a tea lover: Oko-Cha, O-Kocha) I understood it so that all non-h translation was taken from the PS version of the game, so is official translation. But maybe I misunderstood. In any way, I never want to criticise fan-translations - I am purely thankful towards them. And sometimes they are objectively better than official translations. ps - am using imgur since its first year, always was reliable. for the moment I just u-blocked that supersized photobucket replacement image, so at least no more sidescroll on the wiki.

Yay, someone IS working on Yosuga no Sora! With Akira and Motoka being my favourite side characters in the anime, was so that exactly these are the routes not translated fully. Lately I've been wondering if I should not wait anymore and read/play it anyways ... Am so curious if the novel is up to the anime, or if it is a rare case of the anime being better...

I played the fantranslated version, patch version 1.7, patched to the original version from here, and: - there then were no untranslated sex scenes, those were all fan-translated. - - Quality of translation in the sex scenes: OK. (quality in the main game, official translation : ~50% good, ~50% outrageously bad.) but actually, for me they would not have been needed to be translated, resp. maybe the sex scenes would have been more sexy had I not been able to understand the often idiotic text. - - The sex scenes aren't anything great in the first place - one or maybe two background pictures of sometimes not so great art quality, text, voiced. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE of the way over 100 characters is a virgin, so it is one idiotic virgin-sex dialogue (protagonist-side: HORRIBLE!) after the other. I started to skip through the sex scenes very, very soon. - - You're not getting sex scenes for all characters, and likeliness is : not for some characters that you would have been interested in (I might have skipped the skipping on some characters, but never got the chance to. ) I assume those characters then get sex scenes in Eiyuu Senki GOLD. - With that patch v1.7, whenever applicable, you get both: the adult version of a character-sidestory, AND the Playstation-15+ (or whatever it is) version of that character- sidestory. Problem with that is : When you do not want to do each of those character-sidestories twice, or not now (limited number of actions per turn.) : On the one hand those un-used character-sidestory entries clutter up the list of available things to do, much. On the other hand sometimes you HAVE to do both versions, because only the other version will trigger the next step in that character's sidestory, or even in another character's sidestory. (eg. only Teach's other version of personal sidestory would trigger her next story-bit, and the first story for Kidd. And iirc. that was needed for a really good item, or sth.) Also, having to do so many sidestories twice kind of disturbs the "natural flow" / progression / immersion. All in all, in hindsight I would have wanted to play the 15+/PS version more than the adult resp. "mixed" version. The playstion versions of them sidestories often were just better, more funny, cute, fitting in. And personally I was annoyed by the 100%-pedophile scene(s), those damaged my enjoyment of those characters, that were otherwise not bad or even favourites (Benkei). Shoul GOLD ever get translated, I then shall try to grab a 15+ version of that over an adult version. ------------------- EDIT : OMG, those damn photobucket buggers struck again (E*S wiki). May they burn in hell!

@charlbeef: I know that problem you report, and I think to know what's going on: I guess you download like I do: Open one tab per download-part, click free, click free download on each opened tab, so the time counter runs down on each tab already. The problem then is : Like with the previous captcha system, each captcha is valid only for some short time, after that time - exact span unknown to me - it is no longer valid, but the bug with the new system is: it still displays the old, obsolete captcha. So, whenever you got to a (next) tab where the captcha already dispays for more than [> 5 ???, 10 ???] minutes, click the "new captcha" button first and solve that one. works. -
So, how is translation quality? Was it worked over at all? (the non-h parts, I mean) I played that patch-1.7 version, with the official (PS) translation being 50% good and 50% outrageously bad - not even spellchecked, that was obviously already too much to ask - not that the missing spellcheck was the main problem, it just goes to show how they didn't give a fuck about translation quality. Fantranslated parts (h-scenes) were ok in their English language.

I never bothered to really set my system to Japanese locale, I rather not ever do that. Instead I got myself HF Applocale, the most comfy way I know to "pretend" the system is Japanese, and run as admin at the same time. Find it here: HF applocale at anime-sharing And yes it works with MajiKoi, too. (Iirc. the MajiKoi from here does not even need to be installed, just unzip and play?) It says HF-applocale will not work with windows 10! The only games I so far did not get to run in windows 7 were old titles, and that may have to do more with them needing a windows98/DOS/16bit or some such environment. -
just watched that one video, and looks like "made to enhance VNs". Stuff like Nekopara to me looked like it would want to use this. Am amazed that it actually goes for showing sides (a little), even backside in the future he said sth. . That's the part that if not 3D would traditionally mean "too much work needed". Makes me wonder how it then would differ from "real"/"full" 3D, also if it would be more lightweight on CPU/GPU or actually turn out being more stress for those... Maybe I'll actually gonna play with this, some time. Thank you for posting this.

Wow, the main gameplay/writing/ideas in this one so far are really nice, well-made, all very cute and really hard to stop playing. Lots of tiny things imo. show how they cared to make the game. As I am of such type that easily gets into "play for win" mood, so far I've seen very little of the h-scenes - but funny how some of them are done within the same "view", aka. the player icon thingy experiences the sex scene, right on the map, does not switch to some "better-looking" extra "vn-style" sex scene (those exist, too). And nice how you do not have to lose to still see sex scenes in the "diary" (replay). This by quality one of them games where I want to buy it to show my appreciation. Err, that's not how it works. here you get the choice: accept or refuse inheritance. If you accept, then OF COURSE you also inherit debts, and more even : duties. Eg. subscriptions, contracts etc. - with limitations. If you refuse - eg. because huge debts, then officially you do not have the right to anything. Officially you would need to get whoever accepted the inheritance's permission (if noone, then state - and only then do debts etc. get limited to worth of inheritance) to even take most personal things like say family photo album, or your childhood teddy bear, if it stayed with your parents/ in their possession. Of course this in reality is often dealt with/ treated in pragmatic manner. TL;DR : OF COURSE debts ARE part of inheritance.

small casual game, in parts actually funny. Good little timewaster. also Dark Sphere | Eroge Download looks like made by same folks. in Dark Sphere you get h-scenes everytime when losing a battle, here you get h-scenes only when searching them in towns (level 1), or when loosing "boss" fights. Dark Sphere has practically no rpg, here you can equip and stuff and leveling up actually makes a difference. To get the same-ish h-scenes stepped up to level 2, 3, ...? you need to either go everywhere again after beating the game, or go everywhere again once the heroine's "shame" has sunk below threshold(s) - both were true for me at same time (shame -------------------- edit : Ah, OK, so this is what rpg-maker games are/ can be like. thanks for explaining, Kinni.

I have not played Huniepop yet, so... I am on and off playing Dark Sphere | Eroge Download - and casual gameplay it is. (atm I am lost/ confused in the 4th labyrinth ) Riffie searches labyrinths mazes for spheres, these mazes are full with monsters, mainly orcs. Other monsters will just hit the heroine, orcs will either hit her, or grab and rape her. Each labyrinth also has a special sex scene - an evil sex machine here, a slime attack there ... gameplay is very simple - I play with gamepad and there's like only 2 buttons to control the game. Looks like this : (you play the white-haired girl on the left. the pink mosnters are them sexual perpetrator orcs) The menu looks like this when Riffie feels fine, her picture changes if covered in semen, or if aroused - it maybe is deceiving, as so far (4th labyrinth) I have not come across anything that would give options in "equip". Also any skills so far are only support magic, no battle magic or such. As said, very simple and straightforward. The sex-scenes are very short, and animated but the animations are simple (4 frames?) - makes sense when there can be so many, particularly if you managed to have her trapped/surrounded somewhere. The art is surprisingly nice. The picture below shows the "escape sequence" where if you make Riffie wriggle strongly enough (animated), maybe she'll break free (also animated). During the real sex scene the orc will no more be transparent. The game is not voiced. --------------------- I have not yet played it myself, but Kinni described Orc Castle this way: sounds good to me. hope you have fun.

Hi, please know I am new to this kind of game - (J)rpg and stuff. I installed and patched, no real problems : Eiyuu Senki (Japanese PC game) from here Eiyuu*Senki | Eroge Download , then official update 1.05 (google to mediafire), then English patch 1.7 (hongfire, page 77 of thread). I start the game with applocale + as admin - it runs fine, looks and feels very slick, very pretty and all. So far I played until Zipang is "unified". As a game manual I used sections 1-3 of this one, however it may be kind of mixing the ps3/PC games? : https://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/696378-eiyuu-senki-the-world-conquest/faqs/73395 However - some questions came up: Not everything is voiced. In the introduction part, everything was voiced, then from when I got to the world map, turn 1, choosing missions etc., it stopped being voiced. Sound effects were there, test-hearing voices in voice configuration worked, short voice bits here or there worked (like "Yokai!" or such when assigning some character to a mission) Then from "Declaring war on Kyoto" on, sometimes it was voiced again (like Yoshitsune and Benkei in Kyoto), sometimes not (mainly dialogues in Yamatai). I have no idea if this is just so (a result from mixing PS3/PC game?), or if these silent parts were never voiced to begin with, or some fault I could (should) correct in my setup or sth., or some error with the patch ? It is not to do with autoplay-voice settings, as it is the same when I do not use auto-read, and I have autoread always at x1. my ingame settings : http://i.imgur.com/ibjKIop.jpg So, is it sth. I can fix ? How so ? Or that's just the way it is ? ---------------------------- Is there a table of PC controls available somewhere ? Me googling wasn't any success. Are there any ? That gamefaq manual mentions "difficulty bonus items" for attacking stronger nations first - is that maybe a ps3 exclusive feature? Is war / battle the only way to incorporate nations / independant cities ? Or will there be diplomatic/ peaceful possibilities later on? Is there a way I can see my heroines's passive skills in-game? As a (j)RPG/turnbased S(RP)G newbie, I chose to go with "normal difficulty". However, unifying Zipang was not challenging at all. My heroes/ines did it with practically no scratch whatsoever. Will difficulty pick up? sooner ? or later ? Should I switch to "difficulty : hard" ? I mean, I do not want endless orgies of micromanaging, but I do want some challenge. Is there a way to change the difficulty level midgame ? Or would one have to start all over again? Thank you.

Is that a Flash game ? I had sth. similar with Rondo Duo, which also "fixed itself" iirc. - the first time a black screen, but the game ran? The second time I started it (and ever since) it ran fine. That was the only Flash game I ever tried to run, so no idea if such behaviour is typical.
