u wot in terms of critics or what it's been universally accepted that all game critics talk out of their asses and if you're talking from a gameplay point of view, you clearly haven't watched gameplay

I forget why I like this series all the time and then I forget why I forgot.

Old-school Drunk Missile Action. If you're a fan of 90s shooters then there's no way you'd pass this up. This is the only game I've been psyched for in the past 4 years. It's literally impossible for the developers to fuck this up at this point. Screw every other shooter coming out this year, we've got ludicrous gibs.

I only like gore that's in comically large amounts, like in Brutal Doom, Hellsing, or No More Heroes.

I started with Kira*Kira and its fandisc...I was really going for anything but I don't regret it at all. It really depends on what kinda story content you're into.

I have to get around to reading Mare's route for Hoshizora no Memoria, I've finished every other route. My problem is that I actually went back and re-read the common route for Yume's route, then Yume's route ended up having some serious bullshit going on at some point that severely disappointed me...the fact that Mare's route jumps straight into an h-scene isn't helping.

Great show. First ep was a little lackluster but the next two are great.

This seems like a pretty appropriate place to discuss it, but there was a Deardrops/d2b concert OVA released recently, but judging from PVs and various clips, it was barely animated...leave it to Silverlink to make something have crap animation. There aren't any subs for it and we probably won't see any soon, but there are clips of the songs. It's interesting to see the characters of Kira*Kira and Deardrops "kind of" animated.

I didn't say PapaKiki's plot was bad, I said its direction was bad. Maybe I should rewatch it, but I do remember thinking the flow of the story felt a bit off. Characters weren't exactly likable either, usually I like tsunderes but Sora was annoying as hell and Yuuta was a limp noodle. I did like the character designs, but as we all know from Mashiroiro Symphony, character designs alone can't save you. K-On and other KyoAni stuff like Hyouka and Tamako Market are kind of boring, true. But for whatever reason, I actually like that "boredom" that these series have - maybe it's because they're so peaceful and "normal" and it gives me a break from the war-torn Universal Century. Code Geass is far from perfect. R1 was great, almost amazing, but R2 was fucking awful. I can go and list everything I hate about R2 but that can wait. Except for the ending, which was good. I consider the first Gundam series and Zeta Gundam to be one experience, one should watch both to fully appreciate them because of the Char/Amuro thing. Definitely two of Tomino's best works. And yeah, SDF Macross is amazing. It's much more lighthearted than Gundam if that's your thing.

I'm not only into mecha. My tastes are varied. I just found PapaKiki to be highly disappointing because the writing was pretty bad and the plot direction was a mess. The gif in my sig is a link, I'm the kind of person that can watch Evangelion right after K-On! and enjoy both.

PapaKiki was pretty mediocre imo. Valvrave is also suffering from a lot of the problems that plagued SEED, 00 Season 2, and Code Geass R2...gonna wait and see if it ends up as bad as the aforementioned, or if it gets better.

This season, I can say Hataraku Maou-sama!, Suisei no Gargantia, and....eh.

1TB Hard Drive 8GB RAM AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz 600W PSU EVGA nVidia GTX 650 (mid-end, but it was cheap) Total cost was about $460, I definitely could have done much better with either a little more money or a little more research at the same price, but it runs everything I need it to.

I usually look at other user reviews and compare them to see how they are. Also, a quad-core vs a cheaper octo-core...I know cores don't automatically mean the processor is better, but I'd still choose the AMD. Does it have to be one or the other? You can't go with the AMD and the nVidia or Radeon/i5?

They said "Sinanju" and "Stark Jegan" this episode, I can die happy. I almost didn't catch the "Zigg Mack" from the first season, luckily I was watching Ideon around the same time.
