  3. It's Nyan Cafe. I also made the same mistake when I looked them up lol WanNyan ☆ a la mode! NyanCafe Macchiato
  4. I have not play that game, but from the look of it maybe give Venus Blood series a try. It also has gameplay, tentacles, dating sim(?) etc. There's also a currently ongoing KS for one of the installment VenusBlood HOLLOW English Localization Project by Ninetail — Kickstarter You can also give a try for Galaxy Angel. It has nice gameplay and is also a dating sim-ish.
  5. That is indeed abnormal. Just checking, you can run other games right? I never have this problems before so I myself don't have the answer : \ Usually error codes is the way to go troubleshooting Try it with EG version, if it persists it might be a local problem on your end rather than bad DL/torrent
  6. Need more info that just not "open". What error message, what windows are you running, where did you get the game from, was the game an .iso or .exe, do you have JP locale, and so on.
  7. Look at those amount of MTL... On the other hand, I'm surprised the Sequel series is so huge. I tried a bit of the first game and it was already a lot of content (interaction with EACH objects), but now the 3rd installment is already out. It has nice erotic art too.
  8. big rip
  9. At the moment, we are also super dead lol I'm currently working on a project that would take a lot of time, so shelving ATRI rn Rah doing his yearly Madden ritual, so no hope for him. Welp, guess not enough turnouts really hurt motivation to restart the Reading Club. Guess it's back to the grave :\ But once I finished with the project and came back to ATRI I'll post my updates, for whomever is left to see~
  10. Said a demon lewd!

  12. Got mini-progress today: Once again the graphic and sceneries are so pretty. Just imagine this hallway of shallow water, while you can see the ocean outside of the windows give me a sense of calmness and peace. Another beautiful scene, the devs really did put everything into the visual: Atri still in the spotlight as the mischievous loli giving you lots of fun moments: I also just realized all the pics I attached to my last post disappeared. I thought once I attached them here I could delete them off of Discord, guess not.
  13. Read a good chunk today. The VN tech of 2020 really is something else. Now you can... save a clip of the VA! There are also a lot of $ being poured into the art and graphic for this game. Lots of moving animation that in certain scenes there's always something animated. Made the VN more lively, but are they that necessary? Not really. Still, nice to see a top-quality caliber VN of 2020. This would definitely do well from an anime adaptation since the animation and Atri's mischief would be even better to watch. I guess when it comes to the MC, he does not really stand out from the pool of MCs. He does look ok for a change, but his past and tie just don't feel very concrete. Not too many space to give him a special spotlight I guess. He does provide good chemistry with Atria so far though and I look forward to more. (i was like, school even in this setting, really) (higu stare) Other characters also suffer the same problem of just "being there" to fulfill a diversed cast. So I guess it's more to blame on the length of the VN more than the writer. (haha she actually says RIP) The main spotlight and probably the big reason I enjoy the VN. The devs know this as well and made her as mischievous and adorable as possible to gain your bias. I swear they already have an anime planned... But yeah from the VN she is the only character that feels like a character. Expected for a VN named after her. More photos of her mischief below: (girl got jokes) Fun time probably won't last, judging from the opening. For now the VN does feel a bit bland as Atri herself can't carry the whole cast or the little exploration of the town. But in time we will see if I'm wrong.
  14. Game def has all the lolis for you... Just looking around, the Setting alone already looks nice lol
  15. KissAnime and KissManga officially went down shortly before I wrote this post. For those who want to check out MangaDex, read their migration post here. Since there will be a lot of migration from such a massive service, I went and checked if there has been any new source/app to read manga. Luckily, seems like an iOS manga app is available! 5. Paperback An ad-less (!) iOS app that mainly support MangaDex among with some other sources (I saw Manganelo as well). You cam download and read more of their documentation here. Since this app is pretty new, there will be a lot of features missing at this point. I do not yet see a feature on notification for example, which is on my top tier list for a manga app's features. But so far, ad-less is one of their selling point and I'm glad this is a thing.
  16. A new challenger on the block: Kosmi An alternative to all of the above - and a damn good one at that - Kosmi. The site has a lot of nice things you can do together, ranging from hosting NES/SNES ROMs (yes that's right, multiplay right in the browser) to playing their own version of poker, Card Against Humanity, an FPS game, etc. All in the browser. Of course we are here for anime streaming. This site accepts way more direct links that often do not work on CyTube from major piracy streaming site (Kissanime, 9anime, etc.). This makes it a much time-saving alternative, and what's more: You can also upload videos you have on your PC for everybody to watch. It's a nice little website with a lot to do. There are drawbacks, being a site this new. No mobile apps means everything needs to be done on PC. The direct links sometimes do not work either, but from my few times using Kosmi it does accept more links than CyTube. Tutturu, the monetized Rabbit spiritual successor Another site that recently came to my attention, Tutturu. From their basic description, the service makes uses of virtual machines as well, just like good old Rabbit. This means you can view a website with your group - and not just having to find direct links to a video in order to share it. This is the closest option to Rabbit out of anything above. The sites features /me usage, emojis, handling the remote to someone else, participants do not need accounts to join (and can choose their usernames), etc. However, there seems to be a plan to monetize the service, which is understandable (Rabbit fell because of their lack of one). From their Pricing/Premium tab, it seems like the free accounts might have to wait in a queue for a virtual machine to come up, and most importantly: There will be a time limit to the streaming session. EDIT 5/30/21: The room time limit is about 3 hours, good enough for 6 standard anime episodes. I would imagine it would be one of the downside people won't like from the free plan. Good thing going for the service is they have mobile apps and support other platforms, so that would be beneficial for people who does not prefer to watch anime on a PC (me). The backup for Tutturu: Invited.tv Added to this entry on 5/30/21 https://invited.tv is another site similars to Rabbit and Tutturu, in that you utilize a virtual machine and can search for websites and videos to stream. Hosts will need an account but participants don't (however, cannot choose username, and their default usernames and avatars are ugly so making an account is highly suggested). Shares similar downsides to Tutturu: Their virtual machines for free account are limited so you might lag if it's during peak hours. 3 hours room limit as well. It's a decent backup for Tutturu though.
  17. If you've been in EG for a while, you might've heard of this. We basically pick a VN to read and then discuss it in the forum. You can see our past reading months here: February 2016 March 2016 Me and a few other oldies decided to revive this club! This time however, there won't be any votes on what VNs to read. We just discuss a relatively new VN that has generally good feedback and start from there. The VN chosen is: ATRI ~My Dear Moment~ The summary reads: There is also a poll for this post in which you can vote to show that you are interested in participating in the reading club. It officially starts on August 17th, and will last for 2 weeks. There will be a dedicated thread created for this reading club on here, per VN (it is NOT this thread, this is an announcement). If you participate, all you have to do is discuss about the VN in the thread! Feel free to ask any questions down below~
  18. I am back to announce this summer's anime movie stream will be going again! Full 2020 schedule here Stream time has been changed! Now they're around 9AM PST/6PM CET and will happen on my Cytube server. Read the document above for more info! Once again, if you want me to change a movie showing to another day, do let me know and I'll accommodate. Hope to see you there~ Note: I'll also bring back my seasonal preview stream (where I stream only the first episode of each new seasonal anime), time planned can be seen in the schedule above as well.
  19. Discord screensharing While this is unrelated to my video, this is useful info for the people using Discord to screenshare their anime or anything else. (Not sure how to screenshare using Discord? Check here (for private groups/DM) or here (for a server). If you even stumble across problems screensharing, here are some troubleshooting steps from a Discord support member who I was in touch with: Let me know if you are still stuck with another issue. Alternative program to screenshare: Parsec If you're looking for other alternative screensharing program, I would also recommend Parsec. It's a cool program to basically let you play multiplayer games from your own PC with other people by letting them connect to your PC with their controllers/input devices. This means the screen also needed to be stream to the other parties connecting to your PC so they can see and play. [video=youtube_share;R-tE786t_QU] (This is a tutorial from 2017 so lots had change since then, but the description for Parsec is still very true.) Obviously, this means your screen can be shared, hence I wanna recommend this program as the last time I used it for playing games with friends it was super smooth so I think using it to stream anime is also a possibility. Only downside to this is that there are a bit more technical steps to set up Parsec to work compared to Discord.
