    Weeeeeeell, suffice it to say, Umineko Ni is my favourite now so far. It feels kinda weird to say that though because I fucking love Higurashi... geez. But yea it's still true. Umineko Ni was better than Higurashi Ni & Kai for me on *most* points. Will Chiru be EVEN BETTER? I hope so. If it is, then this has been an ever improving experience for me. From Higu Ni -> Higu Kai -> Umi Ni -> Umi Chiru... and that is funny, because the very first hour of Higurashi Ni was enough to get me completely hooked. It's VN bliss I tell ya.

    Oooo, that's one of the first anime I downloaded... still haven't watched it. I assume you don't really need to know anything about Tenchi Muyo to enjoy it?

    REJOICE! Corpse Party Blood Covered no longer has any music/voice/sound issues when played with the JPCSP emulator - Corpse Party - [NPUH10117]. And with that, it should work perfectly I think. Not 100% sure about that though, but hopefully it should. Soooo... might just get going with that tonight myself. Maybe.

    Besides the other Key titles though... hmmm... Well I haven't even read Little Busters myself so I don't know exactly how lighthearted or dramatic it is in general, but here are a few more translated VNs with some combination of romance/nakige/drama/comedy/school life: ef - a fairy tale of the two. Hoshizora no Memoria -Wish upon a Shooting Star- Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo Sharin no Kuni, Yuukyuu no Shounenshoujo Katawa Shoujo Edelweiss Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - has at least that big 3.0 Friendship tag (and it has that for a GOOD REASON) just like L

    Indeed, those three seems to be the best of these titles. Might just read Planetarian or Narcissu soonish since they're so short anyway. Or Phenomeno. Not sure! Not exactly looking forward to Da Capo all that much, because it looks really generic and mediocre like you said. But oh well, there might be SOMETHING good in it (for me, lol)... you never know.

    Have you already finished Higurashi+Umineko then? They're goddamn awesome on so many levels. You might just get hooked big time like me. But yes, the Infinity series and the Liar-soft titles are really great as well for sure. Don't forget 999 also on the NDS! Easy to miss since it's not a PC title. Just grab an emulator and a rom of the game. 999 has the same writer (Kotaro Uchikoshi) as Ever17 and most of those other Infinity VNs, so yea, it's a must play.

    This emulator - Dolphin - can run both Gamecube and Wii games really well.

    Cool, awesome, no problems then ^^. Well... hope you can get invested in the story and its characters! It's a really long one you know, if you take all 8 arcs into consideration. Very meaty. But that's just a plus in my book anyway.

    But errrr, that just can't be right. I downloaded it today myself, ran the 1-4 game and nothing is unlocked - as it should be. So that doesn't make any sense. Does the main menu look like the one I linked? Like this http://i.imgur.com/ZBBDMxP.jpg ? If so then everything is as it should be. And here's how the Start game menu should look like: http://i.imgur.com/5e9hCO0.jpg - Only Onikakushi should be unlocked.

     

    Scenario jump mode shouldn't be available for Onikakushi either.

     

    You didn't go to the Extras menu and unlock stuff with the "Unlock Previous Chapters" did you?

     

    Whatever the case: deleting the "BGI.gdb" file in the game folder will remove all unlocks and options. You could do that.

    You didn't download and use my pack then? Because that shouldn't happen if you do. The only thing that should be in the Extras menu is "Unlock previous chapters". As for the Start game menu - there will always be at least three options there (arcs), but two of them will be locked.     Well if you just want to use some other version you downloaded and want to remove the unlocks it has, then delete the "BGI.gdb" file in the game folder. That will reset all options and unlocks. Make sure you put "Function of right click" to Call Menu in the options menu afterwards.

     

    Also make sure you've got the latest PC music + sound patch for the game if you're not actually using my pack.

     

    The scenario jump mode is something that you gain access to for a specific arc after finishing said arc. It only pops up when you start the arc. With it, you can jump to any day/event of that arc.
