Here's a little something I came across about the fb fanpage.

TBH the translation isn't horrible, but they really need a good editor to come along and make it so that it actually reads well. It's suprising the editing is so bad considering how much of the VN they edited and changed themselves. Maybe someday this VN will get the respect it deserves. I also found it funny that according to nyaa, the game only has one fan:

This, I mean even my english is better. Oh well, I really hope that they'll release a proof readed version of the game (as a patch or something), although this seems very unlikely. Then again, I currently don't have the time for visual novels anyway so maybe something will happen in the meanwhile (like an 18+ version release or a fan made patch). Also, if someone finds a non-rant review of the game (so the moenovel version) then please post a link. Thanks.

There are Vietnamese VN fans (Anime Share seems to be crawling with them). It is...possible...that this game spread like a meme over there in a short period of time. It's also probable that even if this was true, those 16k likes would translate to less than 1k sales. Porn is illegal over there, and since that's the case they'd probably have fewer qualms with censorship...and might even appreciate it.

The end of the VN world as we know it? Is there really a big enough demand for VNs completely "cleaned" from any sexuality?

If so, than we are fucked. If Moenovel really makes a big enough profit with their censored version while Mangagamer barely stays alive from their sales and Jast doesn't even release anymore, than why shouldn't they censor their licensed titles, too? How could anybody convince them from an artistic or anti-censorship standpoint if the ignorant masses celebrate their brave new all ages world, while sipping on their alcohol-free sparkling wine and condemning the "perverted fappers and ungrateful haters" who want the original version?

 

This is bad, like really, really bad... Our only chance is that they fail, but if those enthusiastic facebook idiots aren't bought, it looks like they have at least some customers. Pray to the gods that everything goes well in the end..

Of course not! They had to ruin a full romance VN, plenty of H scenes, for the sake of 12 year french fangirls.

Leaving aside the sexual content (that is not the problem), this sounds like the most intelligent thing to do...obviously...

If they only chose a VN with a different focus, that just happened to have H-scenes in it (first thought that comes to mind is G-Senjou No Maou, although since theyre going for a 12+ demographic, they'd probably take out a bunch of stuff besides the H Scenes like

 

 

 

Tsubaki beating her brother, the ideas of terrorism, and probably the ending with the the daughter as it implicates sex

. But by all means, if all they wanted to do was take out just H Scenes and anything sexual then a game like G-Senjou would probably do fine without them)
